  • Desided to take out my boat and fish Norris Lake, which is a lake that I have only fished a few times so far during the 2017 season. Norris is known for their good smallmouth, but only in good conditions. Early spring or fall is the best time to be on Norris, but you can still jack some smallies even when its not.

Heck yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Thanks for taking us along. Love the info and strategy you used. Also proof you don't have to catch 30 or 40 fish to have a good time. Good times, Good times... carry on!

Thanks for the tips man! Just fished a tournament on Watts Bar Saturday and didn't have any keepers lol. Lost one at the boat on a white spinner bait. A bad day of fishing is always better than a good day at work though! Im fishing Melton Hill next month. Keep it up man!

Old whiskers liked the offering! I've never been on Norris. It looks like a beautiful fishery. We just did some filming on St. Clair for smallmouth. The days are limited there do to the weather. Do you have the same problem on Norris with wind keeping you off the water? St. Clair and Lake Erie can get super rough, and every angler has to always keep an eye on the weather when fishing. Many lives have been lost. The fishing is hard to beat, which is why everyone keeps coming back. Tight lines, Nice video

Geezers Bassin ehh, it can get rough but nothing like up north. Wind average is 5-12, every now and then you will have a 20+ mph wind but not a lot.
