World Record Highest Snowboard Air

- On Friday, April 12 Australian Valentino Guseli set the new world record for the highest snowboard air on a hip at a stratospheric 11.5 meters (37.72 feet) at the Swatch Nines in Schilthorn, Switzerland. Val beat the old record, previously held and set by Switzerland's Christian Haller in Watles, Italy back in 2016.

I thought the opening shot was sick but the closing shot where the drone is behind him as he drops back in is insane. Like looking over the edge of a cliff.

Don't forget about Ingemar Backman who made a 8.5M jump out of NATURAL quarter pipe in 1998. It's only 3M lower than this mega jump engineered and designed to make it easier to jump higher.

All the angles suck can't really tell how high he's going just all zoomed in 'guy in the sky' filming. The one angle at 40sec is ok but still could have chose way better angle. Too bad.

i can‘t belive how bad this was filmed.. no reference on the whole hight except of the crappy side angle at 0:41 . they should really stop filming everything with a fpv drone, if your not a pro snowboarder yourself you can‘t see any diffrence in such ah close angle between a 5m and a 11m air.
for real. so done with all those fpv videos. it's a terrible trend and it gets used waaay to much. they used it in the natural selection aswell and all the angles were so bad, every snowboard filmer know to film cliffs/drops etc from bottom up. but they shootet everything from top down so each feature looked so small. and the worst part is that the judges only had those angles too judge from..

Great air, but this is a TERRIBLE edit - way too many cuts, jumps, moving cameras, etc. Would it have killed you to include at least one stationary camera shot that showed the run-up, launch and landing, uncut? The angle at 0:37 would have been fine - just zoom out.
