I wasn't even a big fan of Dengar growing up, in fact he may have been my least favorite bounty hunter of that original lineup, all the others were just more interesting designs, but for whatever reason this figure won me over. Now I like the character so much more because of it, and I don't think you can ask for more than that.

Calling it now... We have the Bounty Hunters FINALLY and then theyll finally add Double Jointed elbows and then well all wait another few years for those versions... ahhh collecting is bliss😃😅
Actually according to Wookipedia Ig-88 is about 6’5” while Boba is 6’ so I think the scale is perfect, just being a little bit taller, the problem is Bosk is too small actually, well according to official measurements, honestly I don’t care they all look perfectly fine to me, just saying, oh and nice video

I’ve got this Dengar on preorder but he looks magnificent. Can’t wait! This year it feels like all the toy companies have looked in to my mind and giving me the figures of my dreams (well not giving me sadly) makes it very hard to practice abstinence.
I just realized after you showed the image of Dengar standing next to IG-88 and Boba Fett in the movie that he has a different blaster than the one he comes packaged with... they need to stop throwing in that same heavy repeater blaster that first came with the Sandtrooper!! :(

I can imagine some import company seeing how well the Bounty Hunters did and trying to make there own 60$ versions and nobody buying them because there is now a cohesive set for the shelf, and a lot of collectors just wont want more even if they have better articulation. Great review as always Robo
Yeah and im sure they would be better in a few ways, but for 2-3 times the price i doubt 90% of people care at all now that there is a 6" scale version for each. Though im sure there a quite a few who are just after some good quality toys eh ;).
If you don't look closely at the movie it's easy to think he was shorter and smaller than he was, being in the background and a step lower than the rest. But Hasbro has done him correctly in the past so who knows.

Brilliant, mine's been on pre-order for a while and I'm looking forward to getting him - sadly, probably before I can pick up Zuckuss, which sucks! But I'm definitely repainting Dengar, don't get me wrong, he looks great, but he's also ripe for a repaint, and he'll look awesome!

Looks like a great figure, got one on pre order, hopefully it turns up some time this decade (collecting in Australia sucks). I love how he is wearing Snowtrooper chest armour and his belt even has the same symbol as the Snowtrooper belt. Do you think he was once a Snowtrooper?

I always assumed his "slippers" were actually similar to Luke's ESB boots that he had on Hoth and Dagobah/Bespin.
