    really cool you had all 3 seats to review, I got the stock seat when I bought my Sherman have not used it yet as I'm still learning to ride standing up 🤣 think if I get used to and like seated riding this has sold me on the Jeff seat 👍

    The 3rd one by Jeff is good, but needs to be thicker... probably i will make my own custom seat when i get my wheel.

      U can see in the riding video extracts that i made it thicker 😁

    where did u put the extra foam for shock absorbing???In between the brackets and the Sherman ???

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  Před 3 lety +1

      On top of the seat. Extra layers of neoprene.

  • @supercurioTube
    @supercurioTube Před 3 lety +3

    Interesting, do you think bumps on the Sherman are worse when seated than any other wheel?
    I wonder if your current tire & tire pressure combo might be the reason.

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  Před 3 lety +1

      it's the combination of the knobby tire with the weight of the wheel. My PSI is already quite low.

    • @supercurioTube
      @supercurioTube Před 3 lety +1

      @@Ronin_Ryder Ah yes I also thought that a knobby tire is likely to be less supple than a road one, since rubber is less compliant than air and sidewalls would likely be beefed up to support the knobs enough.
      Do you still prefer the knobby trade-offs?

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  Před 3 lety +1

      @@supercurioTube Im neutral on this tire, i consider it as a feature of the Sherman, I wouldnt put one on another wheel though.

      @@Ronin_Ryder I have a friend who has it on his MSP HT and really likes it especially during winter here in Stockholm. I'm sure it's pretty great off-road as well!

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  Před 3 lety +1

      @@supercurioTube I understand, Sherman is not made for offroad though, even if some people keep using it for that. I don't do trails at all, just city riding (though some roads in nyc here are so bad that it could look like offroading). I'm sure the knobby must be great for offroads, just not my use.

    I love the Jeff seat. It's does look wide. Does it rub against your inner thighs when riding standing up? Do you wish it was narrower?
