Hey Chris, nice progress mate, and you can't beat a clean, tidy install ! Look forward to what the solar sparky is going to do ! 🤠😎
Thanks 👍 Not finished yet. But it's getting there. And we have mostly sunshine today 🤓
Good job coming along nicely 👍
Thank you mate 😉
Looks very professional mate. Well done. Setting the example here!!!
Thank you! Cheers! 🙃
Amazing what difference battery technology does for a setup. Very smart, I'm surprised that the Victron breakout box did not have spare covers. Keep up the good work.
Yes the old days of huge lead acid banks are gone. I still need to have my solar panels redone. Hope to have a quote for that on Monday 😉 🖖 👍
👍 good job
Thank you 👍
Your install is so nice and neat! Very Nice!
Thank you Norm. Been taking our time. 😉
Nice job 🎉
Thank you! Cheers! 👌
Your work has always looked good but it's looking real nice now
Thank you mate. Not hard to do neat work with the new system. I am hoping never to have to touch it ever again when i am done. I love boring Quiet Off Grid systems that just keep working.
@@JustinCaseSolarPower yeah know what you mean I'm getting to the age I just want things to work so I can enjoy the rest of my time
@@dama054 We spent a lot of time and $ redoing it all now. So the next few years we can head off and go bush whenever we want to and not have to worry about our home. Have to tweak the camper trailers system after this job. Don't get me wrong It's good but it can be a lot better. Need to get a GVM upgrade to I can carry a bit more on it and still be legal,
@@JustinCaseSolarPower look forward to seeing that
@@dama054 Wont be much to see. It will need to go in and get checked over. Maybe a few upgrades to the suspension then it will need to have an engineer's certificate, Then it will need to go over the pits for a final inspection and then it will get replated with the new load capacities. From the time I drop it off to the time I pick it up it will be out of my hands.
👍😀👍
Thank you brother 👍 🖖
Looks good.. That's not bad if a price for both breaker and case.. I think im gonna get one... Thanks brother...
Breaker and case sold secretly. You need to make sure they send you the right size case for the size of breaker you order. It's not one case fits all. But it is well worth the expense I think. Looks damn sexy. 🤓 ✌ 👍
You have done a good job, sir, well done. My question is; is the inverter warming up those batteries good? Winter is upon you there. What is the temperature like inside the enclosure when it's cool outside?
Once again, well done sir.
Yes they are. They have not dropped below 15c yet and we have had some very cold days / nights. So I am assuming they are happy. We have plenty of power and the inverter is noiseless, Have not had the 2 fans at the back of the unit turn on yet. At least I have heard them. 👍
👍👍
Thank you very much John 😃 ✌ 👍
Can I ask the size of the circuit breaker you used, looks like a nice unit.
hello yes We used a 125amp continues rated breaker. Next question. Isn't that a bit small ? No its not. my home is extremely energy efficient. 125amps x 51voltes = 6,375Watts. The lowest volts my lithium batteries go is 51.4vdc . So even in summer we can run the AC unit and wife can go about her normal wife stuff and I can go about my normal man stuff. You can buy larger units. www.zjbenysolar.com/BESS-DC-Breaker-892-1.html 😉 ✌
you're welcome 🤓 👍
