There is only one book that I try to read every Christmas along with all my others. It’s the classic A Christmas Carol. I do this in memory of my father. I remember him reading it every year at Christmas as I was growing up.❤️
🎄🎄 I am not a huge ‘seasonal reader’ but there are a few books I tend to reread each Christmas - A Christmas Carol and also Pratchett’s Hogswatch. I do enjoy reading Christmas themed books at all times of the year. My December list to select from includes those two Christmas rereads plus some Agatha Christie (A Murder is Announced), the new Judi Dench autobiography, some Brandon Sanderson fantasy books and Starling House by Alix Harrow.
I love reading Christmas books to an extent where I actually feel guilty if I read a book that isn't Christmas around Christmas time LOL I kid you not haha I definitely get into more fantasy around Christmas tho
🎄 I also think of once upon a broken heart as my Christmas read! Just such perfect vibes for winter holidays. Another one is once upon a frosted star by M A Kuzniar because midnight in everwood was a perfect Xmas read and I’m hoping to replicate that this year
I loved the vlog style of picking out your tbr and hearing your thoughts behind each pick! Sun of Blood and Ruin sounds so interesting and the Fairyloot edition is SO PRETTY! I read Don’t Hex and Drive this month and I didn’t enjoy it near as much as Wolf Gone Wild (a favorite of the year) but I’m so hyped to continue the series!!! Idk why but I don’t have an interest in picking up Christmas romances but I want to pick up some nutcracker retellings! 🎄
Out of coincidence I'm also reading Daughter of No Worlds and hoping I enjoy it 🤞hopefully you and your patreons do too! The Bonds that Tie yes!! Obsessed with that Why Choose series, still one of my favs in the genre. I hope you enjoy it 🎄🎄
🎄 I liked Daughter of No Worlds, looking forward to seeing what you think. I feel that - having way more ambitions to read than the reality of what can feasibly be achieve 😂
I loved Daughter of No Worlds! The second in the series is actually my favorite. I am currently working on the Crowns of Nyaxia series by the author, which I have heard is preferred. I have only read the first one, but definitely preferred the War of Lost Hearts trilogy so far. I hope you enjoy your reads. Have a great month.
🎄🎄 I'm reading Miss peregrines home for peculiar children series..believe it or not...but I'm really loving them.. Also in Manga, I'm reading the Rosen Blood series..I have the 5 books so I'm going to dive into them also over December.. ❤❤
This is a great tbr! Do you do an end of the year wrap up for the books you’ve read in the second half of the year? I’m hoping to read wintery books like The Enchanted Sonata and Midnight in Everwood 🌲
I’m unsure at the moment! I’ve stopped doing monthly wrap ups recently so haven’t figured out if I’ll go back to wrap up a few months or just leave my vlogs to cover them 😅
I'm planning on reading a bunch of holiday or winter themed mysteries in December. I'm also hoping to read at least one classic, maybe two, since I've only read one classic so far this year. And I'm toying with the idea of finally reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt.
How are you able to keep up with all these book series, how they don't get mixed up in your mind? :D I would like to read more book series but I find it hard to commit to them these days. And then I have to read the whole series quit quickly and not postponing it. Big book series are quit intimidating.

Me tooooo, it’ll be so good I just know it

I’m unsure, my brain just never mixes the stories up so it’s easy for me to swap between them all 😂
