- Today's complete history revolves around the mysterious EL Barto. Springfield's most notorious vandal. We will explore his beginnings, his favorite spray painting targets and the cat and mouse game between Bart Simpson and Police Chief Wiggum. And we will examine how it affected his future. Lets have some fun, this is the complete history of El Barto!
Hello CZcams, I can't quite recall where the idea for this Complete Simpsons History came from, but I think it turned out quite well. Before I began researching for the video, I had no idea that El Barto was such an essential part of Bart's identity. One thing that really surprised me was that there wasn't more grafitti hidden amongst the episodes! Though I'm sure I've missed lots, they aren't exactly easy to find when there are 700+ episodes to comb through lol. Anyways this was a lot of fun putting together, what complete history would you like to see next?

Hold on... Chief Wiggum took 23 years to catch El Barto, an artist who's been tagging the streets of Springfield for that entire time, and his culprit is a 10 year old boy? I think maybe Bart has a pretty strong alibi to get out of this

I'd like a video about the mystery on how the Springfield citizens remained the same age for years. Based on the fact that in the crossover with Family Guy, Stewie asks Bart how long Nelson has been bullying him, to which Bart responds with "24 years". If that's the case, then how are Bart and his classmates all still in elementary school for over 700 episodes?

I just realized...Barts art at the end was technically lifelike, so his spray paint of Principle "I am a Wiener" Skinner when he was young was actually really good

I enjoyed this history. Fun and reminds me that El Barto is something they haven't screwed up, not even in the zombie era.
If there's enough material for it, a history of Capital City would be interesting. It was presented as this big deal in the early seasons, then it kinda vanished until season 9's The Principal and the Pauper, and I'm not sure if there are more mentions of it in later years.

The legend of *El Barto* lives on! But seriously, from someone who grew up on The Simpsons I must say this video is brilliant! Even though I've stopped watching in the not too distant past, you really put allot of care into this video (and bonus points pointing out a continuity loophole that is Homer's brain damage). Well done!

After watching this video, I only have one suggestion. How Chief Wiggum remains police chief despite gross incompetence and Springfield clearly having a budget to replace him. I mean If they can afford a popsicle tower and an elevator to no where then they certainly can get a least a functioning head constable that doesn't use a shotgun to open a piñata.

It's also on some DVD season box sets if you go to language and audio features then a menu comes up with different options than if you click one you get another menu you get different menus one of them bart spray paints in different languages.

Lou is the most competent, kind and intelligent policeman, yes, at the beginning of his work he made mistakes in old episodes a couple of times took bribes, and used the fact that Chief Wiggum was incompetent, and also took confiscated things, as well as isolated cases of police arbitrariness like the arrest of an innocent baseball player, there were also cases when Wiggum ordered him to have children to beat the rioters with batons, Lu asked him a question: is it possible to beat children? But Wiggum can talk with his eyes closed, Wiggum, as always, does not want to listen to Lou, and does it his own way
Lou is involved in the situation, there was also a similar situation when the police almost shot the children in the house because they thought that Bob's Six lived in the house, but Lou had told the Chief before that Bob had not lived here for a long time.
