Pekka is the real deal. By this I mean he plays the finest metal on earth and yet he would rather spend time in the forest by himself than be around a bunch of jack-ass metal heads. He is obviously a man that appreciates a hard day's work. The other bands mentioned wanted wines and whiskey named after them,Pekka wanted boots. I am 50yo and Kalmah and Insomnium are my favorite bands. Cheers Pekka,Antti & Timo.
Pekka is hilarious! Edit: I saw them live in Oulu, Finland. Pekka was hilarious as always and the local people were having fun. I didn't understand any of his jokes, but people said they were funny. Dream come true, watching them live.

Great interview, thx a lot for the subtitles. I'm 31 and listen to metal music since I was 12, being Kalmah one of my favourite bands; hope they will some day show up here in Brazil, otherwise I'll have to fly to see them live somewhere else. If my job was to do the interview I would have been fired that day. I love Kalmah but I also love Insomnium. Interviews would have to wait until all my bands finished playing.
They are a kind of fruit that these people pick from the wild during summers. I saw these guys in Oulu, and at that concert Pekka said that he would be picking cloudberries on the next day. He kept his promise and on the next day posted pictures on FB :)
