    When I started dating, my mom had a talk with me about different cultures and how they view women. She told me to be smart about understanding who I was dating because marrying them was a life-long decision if I had children. I trusted my mom, I knew she was being honest, not controlling. Her advice saved me from a marriage like this; I dated a man from Middle East; he was very aggressive and pushy in our few dates. I think after our 2nd date, he asked me to marry him and move to Iran. I broke it off right then; my mom's words rang in my head. I am SO grateful for her honesty with me. When your mum tells you, watch out... pay attention, your mum loves you more than herself.

      He was decent that he asked you to marry after first date
      That called respecting woman in our culture
      We don’t touch women unless we marry them
      That’s another thing that he was being aggressive
      So you should be happy that you saved yourself from an aggressive natured man
      But not that he asked you to marry him before test driving you for a longer time and then abandoning you while having used you

    My son was taken by his Egyptian father and I was not able to find him. It took 4 years for us to reconnect. He came home at 15 and is now 24 and still going through therapy for the abuses he endured. I don’t advise any western woman to marry these men😢

      Fully agree with you: This is a very sad story; But, by the way, this story is so so so normal; even if she were not Christian; this happens even within those countries ... These are mail dominated societies where the man can do whatever he thinks it is right. When there is divorce, so the man feels he was hurt in his honour; he feels he was not enough for her; he was unable to satisfy her "needs" .... He feels he is violated in his pride and honour as a MALE .... And the only idea he then has in his brain washed mind, is how to retaliate and make the mother of his kids suffer by using the children whom he brought up to be believe that they are his property ... ...

    • @ramose83
      @ramose83 Před 5 hodinami

      And by the way, I know of another story of an acquaint of mine many years back. Her Egyptian husband from she then was divorced, took his daughter during a visit in Egypt. He told her, they are only going to visit his mother. And she never saw her since ... She tried everything, lawyers etc. ...loss of time and money ... very sad story ...
      In Egypt itself it is not uncommon, that the main keeps the kids from even talking to their mothers or even use the word mother ... Unbelievable ...
      But, sorry of course that you had to go through this ...

    I have a daughter to a Pakistani man, we met abroad. I lost our first baby, a boy then had our daughter who he has seen once. I honestly believe that my little boy saved me because boys are sacred in their culture and i dont know how things would have turned out! Without a shadow of doubt he did love me but his family had a huge pull on him. Our daughter, he didnt provided anything for her. I moved home to have my daughter with him supposed to follow. my mother helped me. She was the apple of my Dads eye and he absolutely doted on her!! I live in a very rural location here in Ireland and the community always talk about her, how beautiful, kind, mannerly she is etc, its really remarkable! she's absolutely stunning looking and i had the pleasure of raising a beautiful, articulate girl who is flourishing at college, absolutely fantastic personality and he has missed out on that. My heart goes out to all the mothers who had their children ripped away from them and others where their children were murdered by their father, which has happened here in Ireland too. The one thing I've told her is, do not marry a foreign man because of culture etc and she completely understands

    My emotions are all over the place. I can’t even imagine how full the mom’s heart is having her daughter and grands back.
    I found my biological mom start of lockdown in 2020. That itself was emotional. She was still grieving after my older (half) sister passed in 2019. I visited her twice now and my family. I text her everyday.
    This story is a miracle. I can’t believe the one daughter remembered her address and wrote to her mum.

    When you come from completely different religious and cultural backgrounds. If you don’t have the same rights in your partners country as in your homeland it is not a good match.

    • @yuh3540
      @yuh3540 Před měsícem +3

      It’s not about the rights. It’s about the philosophy of life and the life style. Also it’s important to actually know if the person is mentally stable or not. Is he doing this because of the religion or culture or it’s just him. Cause if it’s coming from the religion and the culture then the person must study them and understand before getting involved in them. In this case the man is just a creepy controller. Nothing to do with culture or religion

    I cannot stop crying. All those years of suffering. It's horrible this happened to your family. God's grace must have kept you. This situation almost happened to my son and I. His father is Arabic and he had prepared to take our son out of the country. I wised up, filed for divorce and my lawyer placed us in a safe place. We stayed safe while he was summoned and he had to leave the property, due to domestic violence. It was a scary time, but we made it through. That was about eight years ago. These type of men are charming chameleons, who need to control women. They will hurt their own children to destroy the mother.

    This tore me up! The only consolation is that Sophia made it back home. I can’t understand how a man would deprive an 18-month old of the love and affection of her mother. And not just her…the other two girls! Nothing more wicked than that! Nadia’s passing is so painful, maternal mortality is an epidemic even in the Western world not to mention in a war torn area with a zero to little healthcare system. But had she been in Wales, I’m certain it could never have been an issue. Rahana, as the oldest child will likely never get over what happened. The irony is she’ll probably never leave Yemen. They usually don’t and come to identify with and accept their fate. At least it’s good to know she married a good man. I wonder why her husband wouldn’t take advantage of the family moving to a place offering more opportunities.

      it's more exciting,more to talk about,differences attract people! I have never had a boyfriend from my own country, I feel every man here is my cousin or far-away relative, and they don't attract me at all. I like them, the men in my country are wonderful nice,kind to be FRIENDS with. But I need my love to be exotic, the first one was a disaster but the second one was what made it all worth it❤

      Amen! Religion also really matters, especially when you have children. Can you really live without the love and help of Jesus? I wouldn't want to try it. I believe the Bible has all the answers to life on this earth. My prayers are for all this family, that they would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ in a real way and experience the LOVE that He has for humanity!

    I cried watching this. So sad Nadia died so young and mum and daughter didn’t get to really make up for their lost years. She seemed so loving and also beautiful in the video. I hope Rahannah and both her and Nadia’s kids manage to join mum in Wales soon. So lovely to see Sophia with her mum. Only a mum knows the never ending love we carry for our children. Jackie was so brave and had hope all those years. I wish her nothing but love and happiness for her future. This also reminded me of Zana and Nadia who were also abducted by their dad and taken to Yemen. I really don’t understand what kind of mentality these men have to abduct their own children like this and to make them suffer. Heartbreaking.

    This will make a beautiful family Movie. God saw what her husband did to her, was so undeserving so He gave her back her children in the end, and He moved him out off all there lives. God had the Final say. Jackie, you held on through the pain, sleepless nights, and came out victorious. God blessed your friend, who accompanied you on your journey, this is worth sharing in a Family Movie. This story is sad, and beautiful all at the same time. God bless your family, and friends.❤❤❤🙇‍♀️🙏🙏🙏🙋‍♀️🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤👏👏👏 " HOME AT LAST!" MAKE THIS THE TITLE , OFF YOUR FAMILY MOVIE😊 GOD'S BLESSINGS OVER EVERYONE.

    Also, that's evil, to take your children who you abuse just so the mother who treats them with love and affection can't have them. I am always amazed at those who are so saddled with hate and spite and inflict pain and suffering just for the sake of it.

    What an amazingly courageous woman! Such a heartwrenching story. I hope she will still be reunited with her other daughter and grandchildren.
    On a "side note": stories like these do happen, yes, but kindly do not assume that this is in any way "normal" for Middle Eastern or muslim men to behave in this way. I'm from Belgium, born Catholic and became muslim prior to meeting my husband. My husband is Egyptian, we have been married for 14 years and have 3 children. I, as a European woman, have also lived in the Middle East for over a decade now and while, yes, the cultural differences were challenging at times, I do feel home here now. ❤

      I totally disagree with your statement. Unfortunately, this type of story is very very common in the USA. They come over here on student visas and pull all kinds of terrible things and cause lots of trouble. Many horrible stories of women getting involved with these Middle Eastern men and they skip the country with the children, leaving the women very much in debt and despair. Better dead than married to a Muslim!

    For those who talk about religious beliefs. For me this was a true story about a woman who lost her children with no way to get them back. It's so heartbreaking... for those of us that are fortunate enough to have had our children see them grow into adulthood I'm grateful religious beliefs or not... I hope that these children will be happy no matter where they are...

    What an incredibly sad story, I cried through it all, most of all when the daughter finally came back home with her whole family to finally live with her mum❤ I am so very sad about the daughter who died just because no one treated her bleedings, in Britain she would most probably had survived. I wish the other daughter will return to Britain as well,her mum deserves to have her home❤I could have ended up in this situation as well, I married a Palestinian guy when I was young, but I had just read "Not without my daughter" by Betty Mahmoody, and I was terrified to have children with him and left him within two years of marriage. That's 30 years ago and I ironically met an Israeli man after my divorce,had two children and never could have been happier❤I wish you and your daughters everything good in life❤love from Scandinavia.
