It's not the gas liquid that is quick to ignite - it's the fumes that will go a poof and that in turn will get the flowing gas to burn. Doesn't worry me if it doesn't worry you. This is one terrific channel for everyday folks like me trying to learn a few things.

For the kick down detent cable, I used one of the thicker zip ties to get the adjustment just right and it lasted a long time and I used to kick it down all the time! lol
I like how you got the exhaust tucked up under there. Looks and sounds good!

When your horn siezes up and no longer works, there is an odd screw in the side of it that is meant to adjust the diaphragm tone. You can use a paint marker around that screw to mark your threads, and remove the screw and shoot some WD 40 down inside the horn. Shake it around, and that should loosen the diaphragm up.

I like a Holley 500 cfm on a stock 350.. they make an adapter for a q-jet manifold... they run awesomely, and wont bog like a q-jet... great performance...not bad on gas either.... just passing this along.
