I changed my SSC & ID in the same week & my new ID took 2 weeks to get to me. Once you change your social and the system updates it’s super easy to do everything else! 💕

It was definitely a process to change my name! And my husband was military so we moved overseas right after getting married so doing it all living 3000 miles away from my state of residency was nearly impossible at times.

When I got married, I had to go to the ss office and get my name changed on that then take the proof plus others to get my license changed. I did everything in one day. Granted it was a very long day, but I wanted to get everything done with the least amount of wait time.
I did the same thing the first time I got married and when I got divorced...LOL But when I got remarried and moved to a new state oh my goodness they wanted birth certificate, social security card and divorce decree you name it they had to have it just to give me a new ID. Now that was a longgggggg CRAZY day! LOL.
I swear, if I didn’t LOVE Adrienne I would feel some type of way that EVERYTHING in this bag is brand new 😂🤣😂 the Bible book has never been cracked open & the camera is out of the box new 😂🤣😂 but her energy is such a #MOOD & I’m so here for it!!!!

Omg yes getting your name changed is a whole process, journey, adventure lol I got married in June and I started the name change process in August needless to say I have all of my new ids but still working on changing everything over 😭

It actually took me about 3 months, first was updating my ID at the DMV, then updating my SS card & once I had that I needed to request an updated passport. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be 🙏🙏 and our 1 year wedding anniversary is 10/20 🥰
