Remove the fly bridge entirely, thus lowering the mainsail boom and the center of effort of the sail plan, cover the entire roof with solar panels, and place the helm station at the front of the salon with all sheets and lines managed there, like a Gunboat for example, and this would be perfect. There is fantastic visibility from the salon and the helm would then be suitable for all weather use. Otherwise, she's a beauty for sure. I understand customization changes pricing, but what is the general ballpark price for one of these?
Hi! Regarding prices, you will find the main information on our website www.caribbean-multihulls.com/neel-trimarans/neel-65/#price I would say that it would be around 2.2 million euros, but as you stated it depends a lot on equipment, so, say between 2M to 2.7M depending on how equipped. Best regards
I totally agree. a Neel with all the improvements of a Gunboat would be perfect. I would add Basalt fiber instead of carbon, to lower cost and improve noise comfort
Hi Norman, this video was made by Neel trimarans. Maybe this first edition of the 65 Evolution has a custom layout as per requested by the buyer. The standard layout can be consulted on our websit www.caribbean-multihulls.com/neel-trimarans/neel-65/#layout Best regards.
Hi Justin, you can actually get a protection canvass from the boom, which is a factory option. We can also study and provide personalised ex-factory works, either in La Rochelle at delivery, or in St Martin and other Caribbean islands. We've also already worked with a US manufacturer and had personalised biminis fitted by a Caribbean team. There are always possibilities to study personal projects. Kind regards, Marie-Claire
So much to not like about this. Its as though they have saved money by throwing seating everywere.Looks like 40 people at least can sit down,on a 4 cabin boat.So normal even on a sail .what do you do about all the life jackets and life rafts. And for the price it looks cheap .You can buy a sunreef 60 for the same price.at least 90% of the time you are at anchor.i know what i would rather be sitting on.And if i want performance.there are far better options out there. At that price and faster.anyone who buys one of these needs to be sent to the doctor.
I agree with the amount of seating. Looks like a lot of wasted space. I'd configure it differently and sure anyone can customize the layout to suit individual requirements.
Hi, you're right, it was a mistake which we later corrected. It had been reloaded later as indicated in the description: please check czcams.com/video/PWyEu0HIHzo/video.html

Solar and sail is what I like
This is literally lower resolution than old 1980's analog broadcast TV (which was 480i).
Oops!!! Thanks for the comment and sorry about this. We just uploaded the video again in HD version. czcams.com/video/PWyEu0HIHzo/video.html
I thought this model had a below deck cabin located in the center of the main hull. Why did you neglect to show it?

If i win the lottery, ill buy one.... And then ill go work at the factory to help build it.
And La Rochelle is not a bad place to stay in :)
Beautiful but curious about performance.
I'd imagine it's about as good as the 51 or 45.
Hello! I've requested additional information to the shipyard and al hoping to get a fast answer for you :) Marie-Claire
only one Problem they make IKea look like high end furniture

Sorry! You're right. We uploaded the video again in HD czcams.com/video/PWyEu0HIHzo/video.html
Only thing I don't like is the uncovered flybridge.
I think the Fly bridge is meant to be open for nice weather.
