Rick was such a nice guy even Peacemaker didn’t really want to kill him. Also, Amanda was trying to kill flag from the start. She sent him with Group A (which was clearly a lesser team than Group B) because she knew if Flag found out what he was sent there to do he would leak the information to the public.
Crazy part is Peacemaker felt so upset about killing him like his eyes seemed filled with regret. Such great acting from John Cena. Such a great character because you can understand where he’s coming from & on why he had to kill flag.

I really love the way that flag was handled in this one. And his death felt like something that was built up from the start. After all Waller sent Flag with the decoy team instead of her main Taskforce X and Waller told Bloodsport that every member on the team was chosen for their unique skill sets. The reason Peacemaker made the cut despite doing the same thing as Bloodsport is bc Peacemaker would follow any order if it was for peace. Then at the bar Flag tells Bloodsport to lighten up since it could be their last drink. They dropped hints all throughout the film without giving away the twist. Such great writing
Falg death is actually respectful to his character, quick and not too violance compared to other members. He got to deliver final line that strike Peacemaker ideology. The best part is he die as a hero fight for his belief not Waller lapdog.

The section used for this rick flag tribute will start to kick in somewhere between 2:10-2:21 into the song, depending on which one you pick.
Should have kept him alive for a tv show or a third movie and the story would deal with him taking down Waller and exposing her to the world and maybe in the process it would disband the Task Force X.

Great character development, in the first one he was a random soldier who had no charisma, however in this movie he was a great endearing character and one of the best in my opinion
Damn it hits hard, seeing peacemaker questions and feel bad for killing flag is *chefs kiss*. You can see the regret of killing Flag, someone's who's a soldier, someone that fights for the better, peacemaker even doubted if he's doing the right thing.

I feel like Ratcatcher 2 is the only good soul in the movie everyone else is either a chaotic mess or straight up evil

Should have kept him alive for a tv show or a third movie and the story would deal with him taking down Waller and exposing her to the world and maybe in the process it would disband the Task Force X.

I mean he's good in the first but I think el Diablo and deadshot took the spotlight from him. This movie made him way better and you got to see him bounce off of so many characters. Joel kinnamon a fantastic actor.

I was really pissed off when Flag didn't die in the first film. Now, the same thing has happened but this time when he died.
Must admit after watching this forget Snyder, let James Gunn reboot and take over the DCEU this entire movie set everything right that was wrong with the first one… even if a few of the characters were killed off to soon.
It's really sad to see that flag dies he was the only one left either than harley to be alive and now that he is dead it really makes harley feel alone it is really sad
Great character development, in the first one he was a random soldier who had no charisma, however in this movie he was a great endearing character and one of the best in my opinion

Damn it hits hard, seeing peacemaker questions and feel bad for killing flag is *chefs kiss*. You can see the regret of killing Flag, someone's who's a soldier, someone that fights for the better, peacemaker even doubted if he's doing the right thing.
