But Sunni Islamic culture, atleast in texts such as Quran, Hadiths and Tafirs, it relies on psychology of dominance and dominated. Atleast its what it wants the reader to feel. @@kejiri3593 you can't be executed for leaving Islam, you can be executed for leaving the army during battle(desertation) and that's it. There is proof in the Qur'an. It goes something like this "if a man leaves Islam and decides to come back, Allah will forgive him and make him enter the religion again, and if he does it a 2nd time and repents, Allah will forgive him again, but if he does it again, then Allah will not forgive him and he will be in error forever". It's not "if a person leaves Islam, execute him"

Infidel isn't even an accurate translation of the word "kafir", for "disbeliever" is much more appropriate. Just look up the definition of infidel and you'll see that it rarely applies to these contexts. Clearly, it's done to make it more sensational and make Muslims look more hateful.
