    The problem is that many devices such as Bluetooth speakers and gamepads have batteries that swell without being detected inside the chassis. Manufacturers should make it a point that batteries should easily be checked and replaced by the user.

    Great explanation, and ending to the point... punching a hole is only bypassing manufacture saftey warnings..swollen means its defective at a litteral term.. The battery is no longer safe. Remove with caution. Do not continue to use or you are at unpredictable risk.

    I have an Orashare 20,000mAh Quick-Charge powerbank. Had it since August 2022 but in June 2024 i noticed it's starting to swell and its performance has worsened. Now i dunno what to do with it because there are no lithium battery recycling facilities nearby.

    I have some pieces of lithium phosphate batteries 🔋 that don’t retained charge 🪫 and I noticed the electrolyte seal covers are broken 😞.
    Can that cause a problem to the batteries?

      quick way to kill a lipo battery is to shoot at it with a pellet gun. lots of smoke, heat and possibly fire. i think. i have a few flight batteries that have become a little bit swollen but still works fine. i just use them on my nitro starter motor

    • @BMS-Lithiumbattery
      @BMS-Lithiumbattery  Před rokem +1

      @@pieterpretorius1014 The requirements for flight batteries themselves are relatively high. So now when used on other devices, as long as the power and current are not very high, even slight swell can be used normally

    Mate, as a non natuve speaker myself, it looks as if you learned English without interacting with English speakers. It also looks as if you didn't get the core criteria of English pronunciation.
    All of this can be solved.

      Nope... A new battery means a new power bank because those are one unit.
