He was definitely trying to turn her into a symbiote, the way he was creepily like "mine...."
That’s what I thought, too. Harry under Venom’s control still wants to turn Peter despite him saying multiple times that he doesn’t want that. The symbiote preys off its host’s emotions and desires; I don’t think that it would try to kill MJ intentionally because Peter wants to be with her.

You know if he actually killed MJ I'd imagine this would happen. So when Peter kills her a cutscene will play. Peter wakes up and gets control back over his body. He then realizes what he has done and he says "No no what have I done!?" And then the symbiote says "You mean what we've done". He then turns into the Venom that Harry was and the screen cuts to black
I think that would be a nice scene which tbey could add for failing tbis sequence

Plenty of details to like (I found it funny that MJ has to take a moment after headbutting the Hunter to put off the ache), but man, you have to appreciate the cunning and dedication of that hunter to willingly stay put in a falling crane to catch Spider-Man out through his own goodwill.
That hunter in the crane was actually chameleon(kravens brother in this game) I think
Yo that's such a good detail you noticed, MJ is the shortest, lightest and weakest character in the game, it makes sense that she needs some physical respite after performing that headbutt as she is weak and those should hurt, she's not that strong and she's pretty puny

@@poultry-lover6665 when you finish all those missions where you have to chase the birds down at the end your at the chameleons hide out and it’s revealed him and kraven are brothers. Kraven also seems to see his brothers methods as cowardly and shamed them in a way so I couldn’t see him telling one of his subordinates to sleep miles as it’s not his style. Also the guy on the crane and the chameleon have the same face that the chameleons was wearing last time we saw him.
I have to say the I did not expect an actual animation on MJ's death, the developers really got in their bags with that even if it's brief. I have to say, if Peter really did suffocate Mary Jane, he probably would've just offed himself with the symbiote as there's no way he would've felt worthy to protect the city with all that guilt.
Nah the symbiote would most DEFINITELY act to stop him, just guaruntee it would either do one or four things
1. Stop Peter and try to convince him while disguising it’s voice as peters to make it seem like it’s his thoughts, if failed it forcefully takes control and makes him his permanent host while fighting with him in day to day lives while colonizing the world
2. Stop him, rip itself away and seek out Harry before it dies due to separating itself from its host
3. It lacks the control due to Peter being awake and dies with it
4. The symbiote rips itself away, finds a random civilian (flash Thompson) and they both become venom instead of Harry, Harry dies of his sickness. Peter offs himself anyway, earth becomes colonized because of the memory the symbiote has while it was with Pete when they stopped the lizard
It doesn't look like he kills her. I slowed down the video and he grabs her face and then symbiote tendrils cover her face and Venom turned her into scream by grabbing her and covering her face with symbiote tendrils so I think canonically through that path MJ becomes Scream early on with Peter being the host of Venom.

It's ridiculous that even failed quick time events don't trigger the endgame. Triple A games became interactive movies where you have to try really hard to fail.

The endgame is winning. The entire game is an interactive movie. There aren't multiple endings, just the main storyline. The only other possible ending is the sum more taking over the world, so you wouldn't have any open world anyways.

Anyone think that the guy that stuck miles with the sedative was the chameleon? The game makes it a point to reference him when miles later says “who was that guy that knocked me out?”
I was actually thinking the same thing. And chameleon did say "Don't worry brother I will do what you could not". That would be so awesome if chameleon was right under Kraven's nose the entire time?

@@nycandrewd I’m aware, but I’m just saying that it’s also possible for the chameleon to be hidden in the game up until that point. I think they went out of their way to make the guy that sedated miles stand out

I think this MJ is so cool, she outsmarted Spiderman as venom and escaping him like a pro. While MJ in the first game was so rude and annoying, here her missions actually means something.

I slowed down the video and I think he actually does do that because if you slow down the video, the death animation shows Peter grabbing her face and then symbiote tendrils wrapping around her face and what did venom do to her to turn her into Scream? Wrap symbiote tendrils around her face
