      I do that as well sometimes but its annoying to have to load the shirts again. This seems like a great time saver.

    you can also get a spray bottle and spray a mist of water on the shirt and rub it down in the direction you're printing to get the fibers down.

    Great tip thx bud. Do you have a problem with the warm ink sticking to the smash screen?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  Před 5 lety

      Print It To Win If it’s not dry them yes it will be a problem and the ink will stick in the smash screen
      So I suggest that touch a small area that’s printed to make sure it’s dry before you press it down

    • @printittowinit
      @printittowinit Před 5 lety

      Yea agreed. That silicone spray stuff is great for stopping the stickiness too. That teflon sheet thing is also interesting. Didnt even know they sell a sticker version of it. The way you were talking about it sounds like its expensive.

    Hey man, thanks for the video. Just curious, do you find that you loose any detail by smashing down on the print?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  Před 6 lety

      John Harper not at all. Everything looks nice and clean all the time
      I don’t even get bleeding from inks

    I’m having issues with what I think is stencil drag with white ink primarily, I usually do a push stroke but have tried pull strokes as well. Any tips or advice?

    • @miguelsemidei7619
      @miguelsemidei7619 Před 5 lety

      Black Sheep Decals when you flood stroke, keep screen elevated. Then put screen down to print stroke. Also helps to have a very tight screen. The drag is mostly produced by loose mesh.

    I'm having this problem and it's driving me crazy.
    I would like to ask if i used discharge ink or water based ink am i going to face fibrillation issue also?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  Před 6 lety +1

      Ahmed Alwahsh no you should not have this problem
      Because dishcharge And waterbase are real thing inks that sit nicely on the garments
      I would suggest that you use high mesh for that style of printing

      What’s the off contact on the smash screen?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  Před 6 lety

      Ser Joey you should always have about the with of a dime size on all your screens
      But on the smash screen it really does not matter since your smashing it when it’s dry

    • @serjoey734
      @serjoey734 Před 6 lety

      Vega 23 thank you. One more question so smash after every flash no matter how many colors?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  Před 6 lety

      Ser Joey no. Once you smash your base your base should be fiber free and you can continue printing without having to smash over and over
