The 2023 Explorer is instantly recognizable from the side view due to the carry-over body panels, but everything else has changed. At the front, there is a significantly larger grille flanked by slimmer bumper intakes and new LED headlights that are connected through an LED strip. There is also an Explorer lettering on the bonnet.
The Chinese-spec Ford Explorer retains the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 425 Nm (313 lb-ft) of torque, just like in the outgoing model. A 10-speed automatic gearbox sends power to either the rear wheels or to all four through an intelligent AWD system. Ford didn’t go into specifics about any updates on the CD6 platform which is shared with the Lincoln Aviator.
We don’t know if the styling and tech updates will find their way into the US- and EU-spec models in the future, but there are some reports suggesting that they will be reserved for the Chinese-spec model bringing greater differentiation than before.

It’s bad enough that Ford canceled passenger cars in the States…….but if the USA 🇺🇸 doesn’t get this redesigned Explorer that would be a devastating tragedy in how Ford thinks so much less of us. SMH

I`m hearing reliability issues and cheap material in explorer is that true? Are you having any reliability issues ? thats why i stay away from fords wish they could be as good as lexus.

The only two things I don't like is, the infotainment screen size. It's too long and the round barrel switches for the A/C.

@@gustavomercado1599 OK. I’m really digging this look. I have a 2020 Kia Sedona, it was stolen two weeks ago and recovered on Friday. I don’t know if it’s gonna be fixed or not, I guess there’s a lot of damage to it. I don’t want another Kia, I only bought this cause it was the cheapest minivan I could get. I don’t know what going to get if I have to replace it.
@@Anonymous-ji4sb well if you want something cheap you could get Honda oddessy like 2017-2020 and they drive great for being van if you want nicer car get Acura mdx from 2015 they cheaper then the new owners they will last

what trim level I can't fegure it out I am in USA so ik you have to have limited trim and higher to have heated rear seats but this one has it but don't have power folding thired row or or remote start oand others things

This must be the base model, it has no fog lights, too bad Ford is not offering this in the States
This can’t be base model, look at all those features, screens and quilted leather seating.. the base explorer comes with smaller infotainment and cloth seats. Some manufacturers are simply not putting fog lights anymore even on their top trims. But this is definitely not a base model.
@@_IIN01 Toyota is only manufacturer that loves halogen mixed led and some that all lights halogen. Horrible yet they still overpriced. Ik reliability but each car makers can be reliable. Lets not talk about how you can drive the Toyota long time without repair bill that high. But still, can’t get away the fact they are too overpriced.

Nice car but I would NEVER be driving the most Roll Over car on the market- Ford Explorer. They all faulty design that creates an instability. Its like buying Explorer=wheel chair. Not other SVU on the market can beat ford in Fatal roll over cases. They are the winners and the leader in this field. Why you ask me? The same reason as Big Three lost all market share: stock value and profit margins those are the mottos for all Three of them and not: safety, reliability or customer satisfaction! Thank you. Sad but Truth!
