One thing you have to add. ABS is standard on the sport chief. On the Lowrider S, it's a $950 option.

True! Missed that one, thank you. Great bike!

Nice review. Indian motorcycles feel a little lighter and some parts tinny where Harley Davidson feels more heavy and planted. I would choose The Indian Sport Chief over the Low rider s.

I agree, they're def on the right track as far as fit and finish. Getting better each year. I would prob take it over the LRS right now as well.

Agreed, on my demos I felt like they were a tad chinsy. Idk maybe it's the weight difference fooling me into thinking my harley feels more solid.

Good and fair review. Been on Indians since 2017 and appreciate how smooth and agile my Roadmaster is for a 920lbs bike. Sold my 2017 Springfield last year so looking to add a middle weight cruiser maybe the sport Chief.

Thank you! I'm really impressed with Indian's line up. I've been researching them a lot since these test drives. How would you rate your experience with their reliability? Would love to add one of their bikes to my garage lol.

@@WeRide2 As I said, I road a Springfield then stepped up to a Roadmaster in 2019. Both have the Thunderstroke engine which is an air cooled pushrod design so I can't speak to Indians other water cooled engines. My Thunderstrokes have been trouble free over 50K miles combined on both bikes.

@@johnnydangerously7186 That's good to know. They're making great bikes.

I prefer the Indian Sport Chief over the Low Rider S. The LRS is way too over hyped and too many people own them. But overall I do personally think the Street Bob is the better looking bike out of them both with a fairing fitted and so much you can do to it. (IMO of course. Not because I own one. I also owned a LRS)

It's def an impressive motorcycle for what you get out the box.....Yeah LRS are also a great bike within the line of Softails (inverted forks, 5 gallon tank, 117 M8). But it is the most popular and so its like everyone has one. I'm partial to the Street Bob, the best clean slate to start with if you're into customizing. (also partial to Street Bobs LOL).

Now that HD went woke and teamed up w bud light I’m now considering Indians. Can this bike be outfitted w hard bags ?

LOL I looked for hard bags both on Indian's site and outside, no one is advertising them but where there's a will there's a way.
