As i understand the God of the Old Testament destroyed the tower and made people speak different languages to stop them from becoming to powerful to divide them? That’s not true. Only the Jehova’s Witnesses INSIST on calling him Jehovah, and they certainly didn’t invent the name. Plenty of English Bibles still use Jehovah, even modern translations.
