- This is a video showing some of the imperfections of my car. I feel like nowadays people wanna show off the best of what they own and on especially on social media where it seems like every car is the cleanest and built to perfection, which is perfectly fine and should be admired. I think we should also show more of the bruises and scars to remind ourselves that the imperfections are what can make a car more than just a car sometimes.
I love it. Truly shows that cars are meant to be driven, and they are going to show that they were driven. It would be nice if they stayed looking like show cars, but this is the beauty within the reality.

Everything about this video is beautiful. It goes to show that cars are so much more than just the look. Every dent, every scrape, every scratch, each one has a story behind it. It's all part of the journey, and at the end of the day we're all doing what we love.
The Japanese have this thing called Kintsugi- a method of repair that highlights the natural flaws and damage of used pottery over the years. If a cup breaks, for example, it is carefully glued back in a way that shows where each piece broke apart.
This method relates to the concept of Wabi-sabi, embracing the imperfections in all things. A car that doesn't have those small pits and scratches has no life, because it was never driven as it was meant to be.
Of course, I wouldn't want a huge dent in my bumper.
My blobeye is the same. I like to keep it that way. I trash it in the snow, I wash it in the sun, I go on dirt roads, but sail the concrete jungle. Good job!

Very cool! I picked up a 06 Hawkeye WRX limited. Just like yours. Little dents here and there. inside looks amazing. Little things I'm doing to make it my own and to ,are it look better also. 245k OG miles! Bone stock. Keep em alive and drive them! Mine runs and rides like it was new. One of my favorite automobiles! I'm 58yrs young ❤

Awesome. These cars were built to be driven, my '04 has 240k on the clock...I got her when she had 30k back in 2008. She's been rebuilt, bumped, scratched, chipped, dinged, scuffed, and rashed. She takes us all over the place in pure driving joy. Kudos on this one sir. My seatbelt makes the same squeal when I put it on haha.
Such a mysterious ode to imperfection from the car, as well as the creation of the video (camera falling), was good. I liked this one.
That’s the exact reason I decided to leave that part in. Im suprised somebody even noticed the meaning behind it.

That bugeye looks perfect. I like the hood louvers, I bought some like it but haven't found the right size nuts and bolts for them. Can I ask you how you bolted in yours?
The louvers were on when I bought the car. But they're just bolted in through the top into the hood.
