What’s. Going on. With you. ?
Are you saying Oblivion predicted COVID?

Get's hit in the face.
--You must be an archer.
I never had this problem, normally he's pretty close with his guess.
I think it mistaked hom using no melee weapons for him being an archer.
Im gonna be a full blown non spellcasting, total ass kicking Bowman DMG Class that I may create
Barrus: YOU MUST BE A BARD
WHAT THE FUCK
Reggie Filsanime I second this, I only used flare magic and Baurus had the same recommendation.

"ARREST HIM! DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY"

What Joel is trying to say with speechcraft is:
There are four different options, of which a character randomly likes, strongly likes, dislikes or strongly dislikes. The wedges have differing magnitudes of effect depending on size and every time he makes a choice it turns the wheel clockwise. The goal is to maximize the effect of what they like, and minimize the effect of what they dislike because you must ultimately always make all four choices (But in any order you wish.)
amulet of articulation
Yeah, it's a really stupid minigame. Once again, thank you Bethesda for taking us out of the adventure to force us to play minigames to raise our skills.
Better than Skyrim where this is no way to raise your disposition with anybody at all unless you do some really boring "Radiant Quest" (Unless they don't have one or you lower their disposition later - in which case they will *NEVER* like you.)
That's because disposition in Skyrim is tied to your Speechcraft instead of forcing you to play a ridiculous minigame with a pizza. And if anything, it's more realistic that you can't please everybody in Skyrim.
Nonsense - Disposition is not tied *at all* to Speechcraft, it only affects speech challenges and price at shopkeepers. *Nothing, Else.* You either complete a quest for them (If they have one) or hire/invest in them if they're a follower or shopkeeper - there is literally no other way, if you upset them later you can never reconcile with that NPC.
Oh yeah it's totally realistic - you give Ysolda a mammoth tusk and you can literally marry her from that point forward from one line of dialogue you share with her and an Amulet of Mara.
The 'ridiculous minigame' allows you to do, frankly, quite awesome stuff such as befriend guards to the point that they will look the other way if you commit crimes - even go as far as to pay your bounty. Also means that you can convince people with a racial prejudice towards you to see past it (That's also a feature in Oblivion) or to like you despite what you may have done to their faction.
Now, I'm sure you absolutely suck Horker Dick at the speech minigame; and that's fine - Bethesda expects people like you to be bad at things - that's why they water down every RPG more than the last one so you guys don't just put the game down after five minutes and go play Candy Crush.
But I will continue to sing the praises of RPGs and systems within those games that allow you to make an actual impact on the world and the people around you; and continue to deride any attempts to remove that interaction.
"You are the one from my dreams..."
'You dream of me???'
I guess the Emperor is just remembering a drug trip or something.
He has seen oblivion. And that oblivion is called bulk bogan.
His dreams were just Joel's Hard Time streams.
Emperor is a longtime skooma addict confirmed...?

We all know that Joel's ultimate goal in this is to kill the Adoring Fan until he stops respawning
there is two ways to make the adoring fan cease to exist in your save
It is possible for the Adoring Fan to disappear from the game after collecting a Sigil Stone. This is caused by running so far ahead of him that he has not entered the Sigillum Sanguis by the time you retrieve the Sigil Stone, resulting in him being "left behind" in a plane of Oblivion forever; returning to the same plane of Oblivion through another gate will not fix the glitch.
The Adoring Fan will disappear from the game if you have him wait in a dungeon and let 3 days pass. After 3 days, all the NPCs in a standard dungeon reset. This will remove the Adoring Fan from the game, and he will not respawn. This applies to most dungeons that are non-quest related and/or inhabited by many enemies.
Soapy Foten Now, Adoring Fan, you will be caught by my trap!
I actually got the Adoring Fan to dissapear by accident. I let him join me, and then I fast traveled to Cheydinhal, then he never appeared again. He just ceased to exist, somehow.
Melon Bread I used killing him to join the dark brotherhood, who didn’t.
I think that is everybody's goal

uriel septim be like "Your stars show a buff dude with an axe, meanwhile mine say im gonna fucking die at 10:57 am today lmao"
The problem with the level scaling in Oblivion isn't that the scaling exists, it's that you're the strongest person in the entire world at level one, and at level 30 combat takes 80 hours cause enemies have 100x more health than your max damage.
Yep. Level 42 Warrior Nord type character, and every Bandit has Glass, Ebony, or Daedric. It takes ages to kill anything. Still, I love Oblivion.
This reeeeally urkes me for any rpg. There is no point to getting stronger if everything gets strong with you
Stinkybeans93 morrowind and oblivion overhaul disagree. There’s merit in having difficult challenges you need to level up and prepare for.
Rare gear is more exciting when its on tougher enemies that should have such items, as opposed to every road bandit having demon armor because they somehow magically know you’re powerful now.
@@noobishmacgaming Having strong things to kill for good stuff is awesome. Having mook bandits and marauders magically get Daedric/Glass later trivializes that gear being good.
Skyrim does this.. almost perfectly in the middle. In Morrowind, there's Dremora Lords and Storm Atronachs you can stumble upon at level three and they push you in. In Oblivion, wolves eventually, inexplicably become minotaurs for no reason other than you hit a level threshold. Skyrim, those fur-clad bandits are jokes later on but they're led by a guy that pulls his gear from the highest tip of your leveled loot.
So far, I think New Vegas nails leveled vs set spawns best but it's still not perfect.
@@Aulakauss the highest tiered bandits only got like steel plate or nordic armor in skyrim lol those are like mid tier armor sets only one that gets anytging higher than that is the one special bandit in boethias calling and thats only because hes wearing the ebony mail
The way oblivion handles facial hair still makes no sense to me
Now I know why Skyrim beards were such a big thing when it came out.
@@xFlareLeon fr shit is so dumb in oblivion lol
I realize it is kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released series online?
There's actually a couple mods that add proper beards to Oblivion. Beards in Tamriel and Waalx Animals and Creatures. Shoutouts to Waalx Animals and Creatures btw. It's one of the most underrated and awesome overhauls for Oblivion. Adds so much crazy stuff, and unlike most overhauls instead of compiling stuff made by other modders everything in it is hand-crafted by the creator of the overhaul.

watch this turn into a full-on roleplay and Bulk Bogan goes through some major character development over the course of the game
… little did you know…
He just got crazier.
Dark Brotherhood's questline is too good to be just neglected. Much better than the main questline.
Thieves guild too.
Anything is better then the Oblivion main quest.
*the game does it's dramatic intro, sweeps over the land in an establishing shot*
Joel: It's like a beta world.
When i was a kid i played this game and i was so scared of the undead i dind't even pass the dungeon and i never played that shit again.
I never got past the character creation.
i always tgmd when i got into the deadlands because i was so scared >.>
I hated the start it scarred me so much. Always had one of my brothers do it. Afterwards i always stole a horse for some reason. I finished the mainstory once. With my stolen horse. Its not easy
I didn't realize how to level up for about...oh...six months.
So I beat the game with a lvl 4 character with the Blade of Woe.
Holy shit me too
I love how his hand to hand skill increased by smacking the emperor in the face
*Joel gets +5 in a stat* Joel: Uhh... maybe this! *picks zero-bonus stats*
My brain cells commited a seppuku, but heart still loves uncle Jobel.
Joel is like the weird Uncle that do all the stupid stuff but you still like him cuz he is so likeable xD
You know, I give Patrick Stewart credit - he actually made an effort to NOT sound like Patrick Stewart. Which probably annoyed the crap out of the producers who had just spent a bundle to get him in the game.
I heard he still sees Todd in his sleep making death threats toward him fpr this
he lives quietly as a monk at weynon priory
near the city of chorrol

Patrolling the elder scrolls almost makes you wish for a high elf
you eyeballin' me?
JOBEL + OBLIVION = AAAAAA
AAAAAA - JOBEL = OBLIVION
simple math
AAAAAA - OBLIVION = JOBEL
JOBEL = AAAAAA / OBLIVION
OBLIVION^2 - AAAAAA = WORLD DOMINATION
JOBEL + OBLIVION + AAAAAA = MUSCLES
"A tongue shriller than all the music calls me" is easily one of the best lines in the game.
I’ve never understood it 😭
It means that there is no demand louder and more final than our own demise
I can eat for a day with a single coin.
Even though a single piece of food costs ~3-4 gold.
spare a coin for the infirmed
GTA and Elder Scrolls. Ambitious stuff! Don't burn yourself out on these open world games, Joel.
Bulk Bogan isnt in jail, the jail was built around Bulk Bogan and his table ... he just refused to move ....
38:37 "Where are we going?"
"I go to my grave."
I dont know why but that has me in tears every time i hear it XD
These oblivion streams are just so dang comfy. Watching the big dumb journey of Bulk's ancestor never gets old.
very true
"I would stream Morrowind, but it streams badly"
Oh, Joey...
Rewatching this again. My god, Joel's ridiculous BoganVoice™ still makes me giggle like a fucking child.
"The first thing I kill officially is gonna be a dolphin"
*Kills a mudcrab*
"There we go uh...take that, shark."
I love Bulk trying to "Sneak" away from the guards as they scream at him- with him subsequently having an aneurysm when the game crashes
1:10:16 He was such a master of escape that he escaped the game.
Red Guard: "I WASN'T FAR OFF!"
He was a star system away.
"I've never heard of Bill Herrington. I guess I'll look him up."
*looks up bill herrington *
* clicks images *
" *ABORT* "
Ass we can
I went to play morrowind for the first time the other day, put all my things into heavy armour and long swords. Then I fought an elf and we stood there for about three minutes swinging and missing.
Must have been too low level
Invest in Agility. At 100 you'll hit over 80% of the time, and with some enchanted shit you can go past 100 and never miss.
Nekufan1000000 thanks, I kinda went in blind so I had no idea what I was doing. It's definitely more of a numbers type of game then just swinging a sword.
PurpleFaceMcgee Let me guess, you forgot the read the short sword being a short blade...
You fought him with the initial dagger, you n'wah?
my god joel, you gave him so much mouth mess he looks like spagett from tim and eric
Ryan Johnson iTS SPAGETT
"Last time we did this"
*Part 1*
I don't get it.
He streamed this alongside Castlevania 3 but in the end, he accidently deleted his save file. The stream is on twitch.
A Player 69 what!
link it cause we never gonna find in twitch history
Time travel
I GET IT!
idon'tgetit...
Joel didn't get the pamphlet for the free horse armor that's why he couldn't get a free horse...
Oh Christ... when you start off a stream with "Have you heard of the high elves?" You can tell it's gonna be a good one
I agree with Joel about fast travel, it is convinient from a gameplay perspective but it breaks the immersion completely, but I believe there could be compromises.
There is a mod in Fallout New Vegas where you can buy a van and fuel it up and then you can drive it around specific locations you've discovered and that counts as fast travel; it is also a little hangout where you can store stuff and have your companions wait for you, it's really neat
. I wish most open world games had that sort of compromise as a vanilla feature
It's pretty cool how Oblivion increased in popularity lately. Heh, it's almost as if People got so fed up with Bethesda shoving Skyrim down their throats they just went back to Oblivion.
Spooky Skeleton >The Elder Scrolls: No Man's Sky
Nice try, Sean.
Spooky Skeleton daggerfall isnt bad, but the gameplay has aged at this point
+Spooky Skeleton
"my taste > your taste"
Spooky Skeleton Oh my god, it's you again, the pessimist. Why am I seeing you everywhere now? You said women who shave are sluts and also all humans should die, yea?
Unfortunately oblivion is fundamentally flawed with its leveling system. It needs mods to function
1:10:11 Bogan: Master of escape, bye bye
Guard: Hueabrughra
*Joel loses it*
*his game couldn't take it and died*
Joel: Oh! *Laughs his beautiful laugh once more*

what is oblivion’s voice acting

Why the heck do you look like Doom Guy
I had forgot to mention during the stream: nearly six years ago, I wanted to have my copy of the 5th Anniversary Edition of Oblivion (complete with steelcase) to be signed by Patrick Stewart during Dragon*Con, as it was rumored that he would be attending.
I don't really remember what exactly happened but, unfortunately, I was unable to get Emperor Uriel Septim's signature on my game. I did, however, have a great time at D*C that year.
Zeppelee Dragon Con is really fun. I try to go every year since I live fairly close
I want to go to a con but i live in a town no one knows the name of.
🅱ulk 🅱ogan is the realest American. Fights for the rights of himself.
44:23 When the game begins, the command "SetInCharGen" is called. This causes the game to begin tracking what skills the player uses - but it only distinguishes between Combat, Magic, and Stealth.
For instance, if you use combat skills 9 times and stealth skills 1 time, you are 90% Combat and 10% Stealth.
When you talk to Baurus after the Emperor's death, it calls "GetIsClassDefault [class]" for every class. If your percentages meet or exceed all the requirements, then that class is considered. If more than one class is considered, it picks the one whose requirements you most exceed. (And if there's a tie, Baurus doesn't name you as any class at all.)
Joel got Archer, whose requirements are 40% Combat and 30% Stealth. Monk asks for 20% Combat, 10% Magic, 40% Stealth - and Joel never casts spells ever, at least not as Bogan.
And yes, every class's requirements add up to 70%. The other 30% don't matter as long as they don't make you qualify for more than one class.
you know its oblivion when you are spending 25 minutes experiencing the hilarity of the character creator
Been on a huge Oblivion kick lately so seeing this made me so happy :D
Rip, Billy Herrington. You will be missed by the internet community.

"your jokes stink" why did i laugh then chat member answer me that

You know what i would love? A remaster of oblivion. Never played the game but it looks like its fun as hall
Hey Joel, just wanted to say Im really glad your contents out there
I have pretty shitty anxiety at times and your vids help me chill out a little ✌️
I remember the dupe bug wasn't even that involved and it was hilarious because of it. You equipped an arrow, then equipped a scroll, and whatever you dropped next got duped.
not even 10 seconds into the game, he's already laughing. You're laughing.
sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad he finally does that
you guys remember how the game gets a difficulty spike from level 10- 15 and then gets easier again ?
good memories :)
And then at level 50, how every bandit has a full daedric set?
4:35 I never noticed the oversized guard until someone pointed him out recently.
Lmao how has it taken me like 15 years to see that
this isn't bulk bogan, this is his brother, spulk spoken
26:00 to skip character creation for those with no patience
but that's the best part
Why would you skip art
The "I ate my cellmate" killed me.
i hope we get bulk bogan in new vegas

Yo!
Hold up.......
How is it that Joel nails character creation like *EVERY DAMN TIME?*
Yes the greatest Skyrim game
Joel: I touched a pot
Me(An Imperial legion guardsman): A marijuana, In my good nine worshiping city!?!
I played oblivion recently and played like a spellsword and baurus actually chose spellsword
What a coincidence I'm gonna watch this like its the first time I watched it.
>yellow stuff
>asks if we understand
Jobel I'm so disappointed in you. You missed the Yellow Temperance JoJoke.
*THANK YOU KIND SIR*
i accidentally disliked this video and i got so scared that joel would have seen it and been disappointed
I will never forget the first time I played this game back when I was a teenager. It was such a great feeling leaving the beginning dungeon to witness the huge open world for the first time! Back then when it was new it was graphically impressive! I was blown away at the time, it was hard to believe we would get better years later
With the recent release of part 25, the fact that I have to be up nights for the next few months, I have decided to re-watch the whole series. Yes I can re-watch and enjoy it, hell I have PLAYED Oblivion many times over the years.
Just a few comments:
1) While Morrowind IS a great game, the blocky graphics and the hard to read text walls are a bit much to handle these days. I have solved this by installing Morroblivion. Which is basically Morrowind as a MOD for Oblivion.
It works pretty well, still a lot to read obviously, it it looks great in the Oblivion engine.
2) Like Joel I think the environment is probably thr most visually appealing in the age of Beth's "brown" games.
Whenever I play Fallout 3 or 4 or Skyrim, I always install a "green" mod, for Skyrim I usually use a tree mod as well.
It's not that I am trying to "relive" Oblivion through the other games, I just can't stand their drabness. (Obviously, FNV is the exception, it IS a desert after all)
3) I do have a soft spot of Oblivion, and will always return to it now and then. I know I am fooling myself here but I really hope Skyblivion comes out one day.
Orcs, to me, are like Warcraft orcs. Savage but spiritual. Civil but brutal.
This whole stream is so fucking funny I'm dying
This is my first time ever seeing oblivion and 30 minutes in, i know I’m going to enjoy it lmao
1:10:13 HEUERUERG
It's the game crash shout.
29:47, 49:47, 52:00, 1:10:10
have the high elves heard of you?
I have traveled back in time to watch these holy streams
The bulk bogan voice makes me laugh so much

That is not what you will be remembered for.
Nor going through afterlife and back to destroy the literal satan or exploring and retrieving mythological ancient artifacts from dozens of undead, necromancer, demon, bandit etc. filled crypts and tombs.
You will not be remembered for being the leader of several guilds.
You will not even be remembered for becoming the fastest advancing arena combatant.
