Purchase third party model kits here: www.gundammodel... Support my channel here: / prime92 I feel like this kit should have come with two different heads.
That is not metal build recast, i have that kit and do some research, and that based on hobby star astraea type F. Only weapon are the metal build recast
I can't see Daban not doing the white/blue version. I also hope they include the over the shoulder GN beam cannon with it to make it stand out from this one.
Hot take: I actually kind of like the purple, even though the actual Astraea Type-F didn’t have that. That combined with the primarily red color scheme causes it to remind me of the Exia Dark Matter.
Not sure why it's called Metal Build while the majority of the design doesn't even look like the actual MB. Like the thigh, MB ver are much longer. And I don't get why they went for a dark maroon and purple.....looks very cheap imo
Funny, my Astraea can hold everything in this kit. I don’t believe I got a special model either, as both my white version as well as my red version holds ALL weapons just fine. Without much effort too. I’m suspicious, as a lot of you CZcamsrs lament the fit of these Daban kits and with all due respect, I’ve found ALL of you to be inaccurate. So it’s not just you. All of you complain about the parts not fitting and I’m sorry, but I’ve built a large number of Daban models and oftentimes they fit better than their Bandai counterparts. I don’t know why almost all Gunpla CZcamsrs feel the need to be inaccurate with the fit of Daban kits, but they simply are. My two Daban Amatsu kits were an absolute pleasure to build, and the end results look beyond spectacular. If I listened to Prime or Zetheyonics, I would have missed out on awesome kits. They are just flatly falsely accusing kits of being hard to fit together, and they just aren’t. Bottom line, give different 3rd party companies a shot. These reviewers are not being honest about the experience at all. Many of these kit are better in every way to their “official” counterparts.
The actual MetalBuild line is from Bandai and are figures. They use metal pieces in its construction such as some for the inneframe and joints. Most of the figures from that line that I am quite familiar of have been redesigned to a certain extent from the linearts. "Metalbuild" kits are from 3rd party/bootleg companies that mostly use actual MB figures as design base, then produce a kit of it that builders can build by themselves. Most of them are made with plastics only.
@@anselgatus5290 so the 3rd party mb model kit is just a designed they took from bandai mb but turn it into a model kit but doesnt have any metal parts in it?
@@dankush26 Yeah, the third-party “MetalBuild” kits are plastic model kits that are based on the design of Bandai’s MetalBuild figures. The vast majority do not have any metal parts at all. Really they should not be called “MetalBuild”.
I feel calling them Metal Builds just lets people know what the kit is based off of. In case they really like the design of a Metal Build figure, but don't want to spend $300 plus on it.
Man, this thing looks sick! I would love to get my hands on this kit. I dont care if it is a knockoff, I want one

Hmm thanks for this comment. myself and many others just assumed it was based on metal build like Dragon Momoko's...shame
@@MrNotgoth but don't worry, the weaponry are identical with mb figure
Does the quality of plastic of this kit better than previous Daban's product?
@@yanjirujan193 clear parts are worst
@@risangdanniswara5275 the plastic are easy to break?
The amount of Metallics is the reason I didn't buy it.
If they did the White version in standard colors I will definitely pick it up.
I still don't get why they went purple, it's so cursed.

Please stop using the voice filter, the speech is already slow enough and the filter only hurts your review
5:55 There is hip cover replacement
I forget which part it is
So far NOBODY has released an F2. The other Astrea was missing the front shirts and I had to cannibalize my Exia
Really details review

I put this guy on the same display as MG sazabi ver ka, surprisingly it has more shelf presence than sazabi
How's the quality of the plastic? Is it better?

Would you recommend this over the HobbyStar?
Hobbystar has led set included. Things gorgeous when you put some love into it
HobbyStar is still the overall better version.
I dont understand metal build. Is it a model kit or a figure? What makes is a metal build? There are parts of it that are metal?
