There are 3 colour of damage numbers; blue when your element is weak against the opponent's, white when the element is neutral, and orange when your element is effective against the opponent. I didn't do any calculation but I heard somewhere that based on element alone, you deal extra 50% total damage(from your atk, element atk, minus the opponents' defensive resistances). That's the reason why your 4* familiar with an elemental advantage can deal more damage than your 5* familiar of the same type but without the elemental advantage.
Kacang you misunderstand. "White Damage" is an English MMO term talking about auto-attack damage. I am no referring to "White Hit #" or "Element/BLue hit #" it is just a catch-all phrase used for Auto-Attacks in mobile games!

If you are in deul yard or lava valley pvp, the blue 4 sword that gives + skill damage is great , other than that it falls off just a bit. I think for most situations running the red/blue/green sword is good, if your facing light or dark , use corresponding weapon and bring red and green boy. I am looking at calamity spear thinking I may not even level it until I get dupes. It could slot into my fire comp , but other than fighting earth monsters prolly not more valuable at awaken 1 then for instance the blue sword.
If you would go "best" in slot for duel in future it would be technically the PVP weapon(You would need Asterite tho aka "be top in PvP anyway or lucky to get it") the other 4 stars you would like to get passives buffs from (Skill/attack speed/Basic dmg up etc).

Would you use exclusive the 4 stars for the passive or would you use more elemental weapons to boost a certain element? What's your personal opinion for it? pvp probably use 4* earth for skill dmg up. Cuz it's hard to consistently auto attack someone in pvp, which makes the fire bow not as good. But you can totally use both.

Yes weapon passives translates over all slots when "equipped". Example 3 star fire dmg+ stacks with the rare 4 star dmg against earth monsters. They don't stack though so no 3x Fire super rare to get 150% dmg boost against earth. enemies.
I would be curious to know at what point the rare 4* stars dark/light would be better then the 3 star as an alt weapon, assuming the 3 star is easy to get to 10 awakening. Obviously the light rare would work best with fire, dark with earth/water but maybe also fire. I thought running the 4* rare, normal 4*, and 3 star in each element would be best, but this changes things! I'm also curious how elemental Shields will affect the meta, a water shield does reduce fire damage right?
You could check the base attack with Awakend status in the Game by clicking on the glass when you highlight the weapon if you just want to do "raw stats". Other factors like level/gems/star quality/enhanchment levels would make a bigger impact on the overall weapon atributes. If you go mono elemental you would have 3 times burst skills and the 3/4/4+ version actually translates all passives together and the Fire attack + normal attack are working all together(4+/4+/4+ would have a higher attack rating but probally not on an enemy you could hit elemental weakness already.
Diggs sorry for the unrelated question but I can't find the answer anywhere. Does 1 territe energy correlate with 1 territe farmed? I've maxed my 2100 energy but Ive definitely only farmed about 500 territe. Does it get consumed anytime you get territe or dependent on how many you get. If so, I should farm higher chaos fields rather than with alts
Territe energy is Territe that you COULD still farm. Once that's used up then you will find it even harder to get territe knowing that it's already absurdly hard to get one even with max energy. For now it's too early thinking of using all those energy up as we can't efficiently farm it yet.

One thing for sure is stick to your strongest weapon until you hit the wall, then you can try up another weapon for Codex; as well as it's easier to MAX awaken due to accessibility (higher summon chance than the Rare version). From there, you can decide which one you wanna stick to. Unless you are p2w, don't even think that you could even +10 awakening even the normal 4* weapons since the drop rate is also far too abysmal..

I would say it is situationally dependent. You have to evaluate if the bonus you get from the other 4* is as good as for example a maxed out 3* elemental damage+

No, only your attacks will be elemental based. You yourself are considered as “neutral”, so you don’t have to worry about elemental advantages/disadvantages. How much dmg you dealt/received will depend on you and your opponent’s elemental atk/def stats.

Getting a four star (non rare) fire and earth plus another 3 star fully awakened for rogue can be great. Since special skills all buffs for rogue.

Territe also drops in "Chunks" the higher level you are. So chaos floor 1 = 1 territe FLoor 2 = 2 territe Floor 3 = 4 territe floor 4 = 6 territe.

You will need to upgrade both eventually. I would start with 4* if they are both basic.
