Ms. Dimples it’s fun. My uncle have a trucking business in Trinidad and every time I visit I go on a container drop off run. It’s fun from the height of the truck, but sometimes it’s scary driving in the narrow country roads. Nice video.

@@AkuaDimples not sure about Ghana roads, but imagine being in an 18 wheeler with a toddler and suddenly the truck is reversing down a narrow road with a 20ft container. Let’s just say God is good! Adventures of life outside of the western world 🥳😉

Thanks for your amazing content- I'm very familiar with this transportation territory in Ghana- I have 2 Sprinter Benz buses sitting there with no good driver- I spent about $50,000 to buy both & ship to Ghana- The problem you face is drivers whose work ethics is horrible- Whoever is dreaming don't think is peaches and cream - You biggest hurdle is good and quality drivers- Quality human resource is totally absent in Ghana nowadays- believe me ! I've been there!
The saddest part is there’re so many unemployed people who’ll love to work for you but some get comfortable too quickly.

Even the taxi drivers are unscrupulous, you get one price to the airport and when you get there they're telling you something else

They is nothing with that. The problem is that in Ghana, it is hard to get loan. The interest is between 23-65% annually.

I did my bachelor in civil engineering at Université Du Québec : École De Technologie Supérieure and my bachelor in business administration at Université De Montréal.
How is it wrong? It is called an investment. The best example is the english premier league, the majority of the owners are foreigners.
We are in the globalization era, if you have money, you can invest in any country.
This could be opportunity to create jobs for diaspora who have experience operating tripper trucks and other heavy construction equipment to repatriate back to Ghana. Every business comes down to trust.
Bless your heart this a great things you doing. I from the US and were thinking about investing and I would like it to black own. I mean I nothing against other race but being a black person myself it start at home. I mean we should invest in own people who also doing something positive. Honestly I never to Ghana but I plain to visit next year 2022. And to me . I think Africa is a great investment because we don't the white man will and who know what he might do once he get his hand on it

I want to be in this tipper truck business but what scares me the most is the dishonesty of some Ghana drivers but may I ask whether the driver or the person explaining how much the tipper truck make, will help me find an honest driver. im not been bias or something cos my father was had troski and taxi but as I said dishonest drivers everywhere. Interestingly sand and stones aren’t expensive . The driver pays ¢300 for a 10 wheeler truck of sand at the site lol but will charge you ¢1500 for someone in Oyarifa or Adenta somewhere 🤣😂😂

Businesses don’t work for local people because of the lack of business savvy. A truck cannot survive on $550 per month. Fuel, maintenance and insurance cost more than $550 per month. The numbers just aren’t adding up. The driver is stating that he is paid $50 per month. How can he even afford to eat? If he only spent $2 a day for food, he wouldn’t have enough to eat, yet alone live. So, somebody is lying. $78,000 for one truck. That’s a ridiculous price for Ghana’s economy. Those trucks cost around $15,000 usd to $20,000 usd. The driver gets paid at minimum $250-$350 per month USD. The truck probably makes $150 per run and makes 3-5 deliveries per day. I own a trucking company, so I can’t be told anything. $550 revenue per month is not even money for any business to survive, yet alone heavy equipment.
Am not surprised my queen that we foolishly think that everyone is our so bosses or allies including the Chinese.
Come off it Africans it’s our land and we should be in control and not a non African including the Chinese.
Akua don’t apologise because we have a habit of allowing others to take control of our own affairs systemically when it should be us Africans.
