Very nice, love it. I had a Sweetwater Exclusive Lemon Burst as well, but there were issues with it, so I had to send it back. I did end up finding a nice new Les Paul Classic, the Olive Drab exclusive from gibson, so sweet. I am glad you got one under 9lbs, mine was 10.2lbs and like I said, had some issues.
So this one got sent back to sweetwater as well.. not because there was any issues I just found one from wildwood that I liked a whole lot better. Under 9 pounds is the way to go!
First of all...Congrats! This makes me sooo happy. I purchased my LP STANDARD 60'S Unburst in 2019. I waited and waited for the right top and weight. I not only got a top nearly as exact as you're's, it weighs 9 pounds 2 ounces! I haven't seen one as nice since seeing this.

Can’t decide which one to buy because all colors look amazing, I think the 3AAA top is the way to go maybe? Still need to finalize either the heritage cherry sun burst or this lemon burst
Now that you own BOTH can you tell me how close overall is the Epiphone in feel to the Gibson? I understand they have different neck profiles and finishes but i basically just wanted to know if that Epi actually feels like a Les Paul by Gibson? When i had a Epiphone 1960 tribute plus it definitely did not feel like a expensive Gibson Les Paul even though it was quality made and had premium parts.
So I'll say this.. The Gibson feels and looks more expensive. In terms of sound, they are close enough that I had a hard time hearing the difference in the recordings. You definitely won't mistake one for the other when you have them in your hand though. This is a weird situation thought because I actually liked the sound better from the Epiphone (wasn't vibing with the pickups in the Gibson). I wanted to like the Gibson better because it felt and looked more premium, but I couldn't. I've returned that Gibson Les Paul and purchased another one from wildwood that I'm in love with. More to come from that soon...
@@guitar_george Yes the Burstbuckers in the Epiphone Lazarus sound better than the BB's in the Gibson LP 60's. I put a set of Sheptone Tribute P.A.F's in my 60's and it sounds much better than stock now. About the Epi having the different "feel" that was the issue i had with the Epi i owned. It just did not feel like a real Les Paul? it looked and sounded great but the way it felt was not so great to me. Looking forward to hearing about this new Les Paul you got.

You can't go wrong. Just get one with a top you like at a weight you like and you'll be happy!
