JerryTerry Halloween Special. Also a landmark achievement - the first time I have ever completed and released a video in time for the holiday it was intended for. I almost intentionally kept hold of this for a month just for tradition's sake.
The phone-holding pumpkin boys were drawn by Scotch ( / scotchi ) and Kirsten respectively.

Yeah, but I think anybody with more than 1 brain cell can tell that when your computer glitches out just to say some very suspicious words to you, presumeably to block what was actually being said, we (the person on the other end) would most likely be somewhat freaked out by what was on the computer and perhaps "get away".

@@RToast13 I noticed that too, after [DEFINITELY NOT WATCHING THESE TWO VIDEOS ON REPEAT FOR A WHILE]. In Kiss Me, the guy trying to hack in clearly is investigating the case involving the boys. Why GourdCop pulls up a different case entirely is beyond me. Based on the error messages, and the ending of Kiss Me, I feel like it’s possible these dark entities, while having effects on the real world, are digital anomalies. Shooting the Kiss Me girl might have killed her physical form, but we clearly released something horrible when we were forced to listen to the song.

my perception of this song has changed since his new release of "kiss me (kill me)" since we have more lore, it's safe to assume that the world is breaking out into an apocalypse and its genuinely terrifying

this HAS to be all centered with gourdchat (the application in general) because both "the boys are back" and "kiss me (kill me)" have some sort of reference to it, this song is litteraly centered around it and "kiss me (kill me)" has the main character serching up the incident, trying to download the files, it failing, and using the "gourd cop" to help, but in the end leading them to a trap

It just hit me how connected this and 'kiss me (kill me)' really is. They mention the 'woman that kissed the boy's face', which is the whole premise of 'kiss me (kill me)'. It makes me realize that the boys may indeed be parasitic hosts as well. They try so hard to convince the people behind the computers that they're normal, and that nothing horrible has happened, and even to go as far as to say that the parasite is a good thing, that it seems likely to me that they're either under the control of the same parasite, or one faction lords over the other. The boys could be demons, they could be simple monsters, or fellow parasitic hosts, but they appear to act differently and on their own, comparatively to the poor woman being overtaken in kiss me (kill me). This could just be a crackpot theory, but in some way other than gourdchat and gourdcop, they are intertwined.
P.S. If you pause your video and use < and > to move the video at the very end, you find an image (albeit I'm pretty sure from friends) of one of the 'boys' with a large parasite placed upon his head. This appears to further the idea that they are of the same kind, or one type of parasite is subservient to the other.
I once beleaved that gourdchat (much like Halloween 3 in some way) had some sort of infused technology that signals the other infected creatures to the user or infects them into becoming one themselves.
Also, I think the parasite itself is a different entity intirely, infecting hosts into becoming mutated monsters, while they are able to spread the mutation to other people. The boys coudl've been a collective entity of other humans that were victims of the parasite, fused together to form an amalgamation. They later on infected the lady in kiss me (kill me), turning her into a deformed corpse.

In both this and Kiss Me (Kill Me), the same dark text with red and blue highlights is used. I believe that it’s in some way connected to the parasite, since in Kiss Me (Kill Me) it seems to be used only when the girl isn’t speaking of her own will, as there’s a section after it appears where her speech returns to the regular blue text used to signify her words and she’s pleading for whoever she’s speaking to kill her while she’s down. It would make sense to assume the parasite is also affecting some of what’s said here following that same logic, seeing as the darkened text is solely to make the arrival of “The Boys” seem like a good thing.

I love the implication that “The Boys” aren’t a group of boys independent of one another, but likely one entity with multiple consecutive bodies. (Because that girl who is “living happily in a mid range apartment” apparently slapped the boys’ face, meaning she slapped the boys as a collective despite slapping one.)
If you pause perfectly when it glitches you can see a green monster thing latched onto presumably your friends head.

I love the way the part at the end almost starts to sound more like "you brought them back" instead of "the boys are back"

I'd like to draw attention to the symbolism of gourds/carved pumpkins.
Pumpkins and gourds were originally carved and set out to ward off spirits, right? But in this little series, they're the one attracting them, or are used as the thing that spreads them.
Somebody in the newest song, Kiss me (Kill me) pointed out that the virus could be spread via air. The best way to spread it from an infected person would be to, yknow, blow their brains out. The impact would shatter the skull and release blood everywhere. Smashing pumpkins could also do this. Or carving them.

I've only seen this done in one other place and that was The Candy Mare where the pumpkins scattered everywhere became vectors for her to infect and be everywhere at once, and when someone smashed them, she got on everyone around her. It's a very lesser seen detail in that massive novella story, but it always struck me as neat.
It's so utterly forgotten what they were and could be or do.
The last thing we hear in Kiss Me (Kill Me) is a gunshot, presumably directed at the infected singer.

My fave part is the "Oh shit" its so sudden and panicked like how you'd react if someone just starting banging on your door, i love it.
Judging by, what we can assume to be a picture from the correspondent's webcam moments after his demise, that "the boys" seem to be some kind of insectoid-like beings that attach themselves to the heads of humans, presumably some kind of feeding behaviour. And the way they're talked about implies that they're a threat that some common folk are aware of, but were not anticipating their return for some time.
Addendum: Either the photo is how "the boys" feed or is possibly, judging by Kiss Me, how "the eggs" are transmitted.

This song gets even creepier if you listen to the other one in this series, as at around 1:34, as the singer is telling you to "get away" you can hear what can be interpreted as buzzing and egg hatching, as well as a slight heartbeat, just like the one used in Kiss Me (Kill Me)
i always thought the hatching sound was like a bone breaking or being snapped, if you look at the screen when the hatch sound plays it like creases
Im think the buzzing and egg hatching are the boys' unhuman sounds and them breaking the singers neck respectively
This information has made me even more disturbed by this song series, thank you!

The most unnerving part of this video is the way that we can see around the side of the computer screen. It makes it feel like the person whose perspective we're seeing is potentially at risk at all times. The first time I watch this, I expected it to end with the camera turning, and there being a jumpscare at the very end.
Theres techniqually a jumpscare right after the Bluescreen, but it is so quick most people don't seem to catch it immideatly.
