      john johnson hahah. I did delete the center muff and the midpipes from APR were on there. I lastly deleted the valved mufflers and it made it sound crazy. I now have an rs7 with more pep in the step 🙌🏻

    What diffuser is that? I want to get one like that for my 2014 s7. I want that more aggressive look over the oem. I’ve been looking for some time but i have not seen one that looks like that.

    hey wassup, love the car. I have 2016 s6 and will be going stage 2 in the next day or so, hows it been holding up. Also, did you see any power gains from your cold air intake? Did it make a real difference? And lastly if so where can I purchase one at a decent price? Thanks

    • @rennsport.garage724
      @rennsport.garage724  Před 5 lety +1

      Matthew B hey man sorry for the late response. CAI’s are kind of s grey area. Apparently, it’s about the inlet pipes rather than the whole intake itself. But, yah sure air intakes help. Try to find used ones on audizine if you can’t, then go with roc euro or SRM.

    I have a stock 2013 S6. I love the sound of yours. Thinking of doing something to the exhaust and maybe a stage 1 tune from APR. I'm so indecisive though...What should I do?

    • @MidwestMotor
      @MidwestMotor Před 4 lety

      Why ask? Just do it! Stage 1 is so easy, it's just plug & play - ECU upgrade basically.

    • @Skipppyyyyy
      @Skipppyyyyy Před 3 lety

      Can you jump just to stage two?

    • @sneakerhead4770
      @sneakerhead4770 Před rokem

      Yea u can go to stage 2 right away. Stage 2 also involves hardware (downpipes which cost a considerable about like 2k but come with the stage 2 tune) then u have to pay a shop to install it unless u r handy and know what ur doing. Stage 1 is only a flash (reprogramming the ecu which is the computer to use more gas and more air bc the turbos boosting higher and the result is more power. So if ur not trying to spend a lot stage 1 is perfect. If u got the extra cash and want more performance u get stage 2. And no u can’t get stage 2 without the downpipes it would just be stage 1 without them. If u want the extra performance and got the money for it stage 2 is the way to go right away. But for a cheaper route and a big boost I’m guessing 100-120 extra hp easy stage 1 and maybe 150-160 extra hp over stock with stage 2 and maybe 30-40 more tq over stage 1. The bulk is stage 1 that wakes the car up and stage 2 takes it to the next level. Stage 3 is upgraded turbos and obviously the downpipes also. So u could go straight to 3 if u got 8-9k. And then stage 4 is engine build upgraded turbos and downpipes. That prob gonna be like 25-40k and ur gonna want intercoolers optimally on any stage really helps prevent heat soak so u can get more consistent power. Hot summer days those 4.0T’s suffer after they have been baking in the sun all day

    Did you say putting on the down pipe you won’t pass emissions? It’s a pain to take out.

      I did not do the grille myself a shop did it. I definitely know they had to remove the bumper. Yeah, emissions problems….🙄.
      I no longer have this car. Have an rs7 now. My CZcams been dead though 🤣

      Yes, you buy stg 1 and then buy the downpipes from APR. roughly 4-5k upfront and then u get stg 2 free.
