[Public Access] TCGS #22 | Random Andrew and The Hero's Journey

Random Andrew was taking it on the chin from our callers. They all thought he was arrogant or something. He's not. He's the sweetest, most stand up dude I've ever met. At a planning meeting at the Olympic Flame diner, me and JD and Noah and Dru were trying to figure out how to stop this so his time on the show wouldn't be a hellish memory forever for him. We figured out how - let's have him fight people and prove that he's a hero and not a villain. The screams of horror from the studio audience while the fights were happening are completely genuine. Only we would do this. This is a really disturbing episode, but also it's the exact type of thing that makes me proud of our show. Hallie LLC's screaming of "Pain!" during each fight is incredible. -Geth

some of the most beloved bands of mine i discovered from this show, most notably mindtroll and the strange boys. and i completely forgot the strange boys episode is also one of my favorite episodes overall. god bless andrew. not many twenty year old theatre kids would fight off guys in their mid-30s to save the host of a public access show. i wonder what he's up to now, almost ten years later.
