  • Hi lovely people! I'm here with my first "study with me" video. Lately I've been trying to get out of my room more and study in different places! I enjoyed studying at this cheerful cafe in Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan and hearing the background sounds (people talking, coffee shop ambience, quiet music). Good luck with your studies, and let me know what you think!!

Years ago I used to go to a specific cafe in America where I studied Russian, the language.
I spent almost every day there drinking iced tea for staying awake and alert.
No matter how noisy the place got at times, I found that I could still concentrate on my work. I usually had about 4 or 6 books on the table ( a small one in the corner of the cafe) spread out in front of me. It was 4 years later that I finally spent a lot of years in Russian speaking countries. As amazing as it is, there are many countries outside Russia that speak the language or even near it but it's still recognizable as it how it is written.

I like the sound of Russian language and the elegant alphabet. Studying a language is hard (I know since I’ve been studying Japanese!) but it’s worth it!

@@itskendallrose It was sometime later that I was sent to the Middle east where I began to learn basic Arabic. Then to Iraq and later, Afghanistan where you have two dialects of Arabic. Pashtu and Dari.
Whenever I am learning a new language I incorporate the writing needed to complete my knowledge of the language.
