In this video, I go over the process of modifying a NERF gun to shoot like a "machine gun." I used the Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe and the Worker full auto kit.
Hi Joseph. Thanks for the video, it’s the best one I’ve found on CZcams regarding specifically the worker full auto kit. I’m wondering, does the pusher always return to the back position? If not, can you load a clip with it in the forwards position?
@Hashir Easa thanks for the reply mate. I’ve had great success with that full auto kit. I’ve found that if you put a dab of hot glue to prevent the pusher from fully returning to the back position, it increases the durability of the peg that slots through the pusher. This is prone to failure and can result in the loss of a stryfe/swordfish shell as it is difficult to repair. Even less than 1mm does the trick and the blaster has more of a thump thump rather than the clack clack. It’s worth a try, thanks
Joseph, Thanks for this video. I bought this kit to mod a different Nerf gun. Just to be clear, can you tell me, The bottom switch activates the flywheels and the top switch activates the pusher motor and that's it?
Couldn’t you have just kept the original revving system and add a second power supply (a battery pack) velcro it to the side of the blaster and make holes in the blaster for the wires to fit through use the included switch to connect it to the motor that spins the teeth plus it doesn’t drain you’re in blaster battery.
Nice video. I noticed though that you did not utilize all of the parts and the micro circuit board that comes in the kit. Is there a reason why you skipped out on using the other parts?
I think the kit is over-engineered, or maybe I just figured out a way to make it work. That particular gun is still working. Check out the stryfe university youtube page for my latest stryfe mods
no the tested version has stock flywheels. If you are interested in more exciting mods, including brushless, check out my CZcams Channel "Stryfe University"
Help, I am also using the worker full auto kit, but upon plugging in a 3s lipo, my worker flywheel motors began smoking instantly. I wired everything according to worker’s directions
i got those parts from www.workermod.com/ you can also buy on amazon. Meanwhile ( am going to 3d print my own soon - the worker parts are hard to use - as you can see in the video it is hard to properly seat that motor mount. If you send me your address i will send you a motor mount we did and you can see if it works
I used normal batteries in this video. if you want to see one set up to use LiPo technology, check out the SuperStryfe Videos on the Stryfe University CZcams Channel
you coudl, but it would be a waster because the stock toy motors can rreally do much more than they are doing. i did connect a 9.6v race car batter to the flywheels in a project called "super-rev" you can see that here
yes, but it is suggested that you also replace the flywheels, the flywheel cage and the motors. if you dont know how to do that there are many videos online; just search "full stryfe rewire" or something like that
Thanks for the video, I got the mod kit over a year ago, but I was never sure quite how to go about installing it. This was definitely helpful!
RULE 1: Do not have the power source in when you solder!
Whoops..
Just finished the mod with my son. Step by step perfect. Thank you for putting this on here.
this is a life saver there is no tutorial except this one.... Thank you👍
that is a big part of why i made the video - the instructions on the worker kit are less than helpful

Thanks for this video doing this mod for my grandson who picked up a used stryfe
That fire rate is actually really good for the AA 6V!!!
Thanks for doing this video, it helps alot, new subscriber alert!
you are very welcome. Im going to be doing some more of this stuff in the future, but I am busy with my work right now.
You can use xsw full auto kit instead of worker one because you can screw it in.

I bought this kit and I’m really struggling with it. I am so relieved that you bought the same one to take us through it!
I just finished the last circuit and put on the screws. Now I have an unfair stryfe!!
Can u give me a link I’m having trouble finding it. Found the website but not the exact kit
@@thefunnywaffle7426 I’m pretty sure this is it: www.workerkit.com/Worker-Full-automatic-Modified-Kit-for-Nerf-Stryfe-full-auto-kit-p1123152.html
nice shirt dude!
Thank you so much! This will be very helpful as I am buying the kit!
Hey,dude. Does it work with a lipo battery?
Joseph, Thanks for this video. I bought this kit to mod a different Nerf gun. Just to be clear, can you tell me, The bottom switch activates the flywheels and the top switch activates the pusher motor and that's it?
Thank you Joseph Murphy!

@@josephmurphy423 The micro circuit allows rate of fire control and alters motor current flow to the motor that pushes the rod.
@@Huey_AK-47_Brawl_Stars the microcircuit also makes sure that the pusher rod is drawn all the way back after you fire a burst
@@josephmurphy423 Oh, right thanks a lot :)
thx other tutorials not make sense but this is very good I think, that i will make one of theese modifications so thx again
nice video
Cool vid!
Thanks! Super cool!
Nerf stryfe,s are like the Air Force One of nerf guns
That so COOL ! Bro
Note: +In can also be labeled as +Vcc or in this specific case +5V.
I have the same exact screws 😂😂😂 😂
Wanna fight for it
Hi rifty fan
Thanks man, finally an clear tutorial
Cool bro I think that’s a pretty cool can you get them like green or purple like Barney the dinosaur I like Barney bye
Cool but you can also make the uzi rapid strike coop772 made not saying it’s bad just saying
Thanks I’m thinking of buying the kit so this’ll help a lot
Does the tested version have any flywheel upgrades, or is it stock?
no the tested version has stock flywheels. If you are interested in more exciting mods, including brushless, check out my CZcams Channel "Stryfe University"
What do you tighten to increase rate of fire? Ie make that gear spin a little faster?
Hello, great video. Is there any chance you could provide a link for the kit as I have been unable to find this kit.
Why you didn't use the return switch?
That shirt fire
Havend added it up yet but a holeky uzi is a better styfe knock of
Help, I am also using the worker full auto kit, but upon plugging in a 3s lipo, my worker flywheel motors began smoking instantly. I wired everything according to worker’s directions
Did you just use aa batteries?
you can just put in imr batteries to get better performance or replace all mototrs with something like mtb rhinos and run lipo
I thought I couldn’t run imr so thx
Hi thanks for making the video I was wondering were u got the parts for the build

Dude we can’t here you when that motor is running
I am sorry you had a hard time hearing. My videos are getting better, that was shot last august
Joseph Murphy hey man it’s all good still did a great job with that mod

we have the same screwdrivers xd
can i pay someone to mod it for me?
Damn
bro....you dont have to keep explaining that the UK calls it sowlder
Thank you! I was worried about that
I'm a kid and ihave touched the flywheel
Could I possibly hook this up to a 2s lipo?
you coudl, but it would be a waster because the stock toy motors can rreally do much more than they are doing. i did connect a 9.6v race car batter to the flywheels in a project called "super-rev" you can see that here
Well it’s like 7v for 2s so 9.6 is probably why it didn’t work
