It must suck to work so hard to make this music just for people to call out 1 wrong word. The music is so good I would not even care.
Honestly, I think "orchestra" fits the theme of the episode more. Since it takes place in a more vintage like place, more than a modern area.
I think Concert fits the episode better, but Orchestra is the cooler name

Flight of the Bumblebee also had a good electric guitar but I dont see much people talking about it

That one staff threw the whole schedule out the window because a silverfish was being stubborn
I like how 4:54 marks the point where Green has had enough, with Rush E, which might as well be the most challenging song and is a testament to Green’s skill and mastery, while the silverfish needs his friends and the staff to keep up
at 5:49 you can hear how Green’s notes are much more defined whereas the silverfish’s notes are more silly
6:10 is definitely the best part, you can hear the rendition distance from Rush E at 6:20, with an added bell that really seals the deal on top of that distanced part of the rendition, which I cant really describe
also IMO the combat part peaked at this point, the animation was really well done
I also like how Green stopped fighting with only one hand at this point
the addition of rock (i think?) at 6:38 was really well done, both music and animation-wise
6:43 is really satisfying
also using the note block staff (used by Green) to play the last part of Rush E was smart

Everyone's talking about Rush E - which is understandable, because that was awesome. But everyone's also sleeping on that guitar riff for Flight of the Bumblebee

Scott Buckley is way too underrated. Everyone is watching and appreciating Alan’s video (which is mandatory) but almost no one is appreciating Scott’s music. Imagine the videos without any music or with low quality music, that would be just horrible. Anyways, Scott, you did and OUTSTANDING job on this!! Keep up the amazing work!!! ❤

What I like: all songs are instantly recognizable and the covers and animation here did them justice
What I don't like: the only thing people ever talk about is Rush E... come on people let's show some love to Rhapsody in Blue and Flight of the Bumblebee too

It's recency bias. After all Rush E was the only song out of the three that was composed this millennium.
I didn't know what the first one was, but Flight of the Bumblebee hit HARD.

@@RangeCMYK I wouldn't attribute it ALL to recency bias (knowledge or preference wise), Rush E is also:
1. the most bombastic and loud song of the three, especially the end (actually this applies to Flight too, I'm seeing a lot of praise for that song)
2. the song with the most battle focused scene, these videos always have great and memorable fight scenes
3. the last (full) song, there is nothing left to distract from its impact. It's the climax.
The other songs do still deserve some credit, but there is a reason Rush E is the most popular.
A Tom and Jerry inspired episode is something I didn't know I wanted from Alan Becker. And great job to you too, Scott! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
All three pieces of music that were used were fantastic. Especially Rhapsody in Blue.
With this music, it really felt like a revised Cat Concerto.
The Concert is amazing, though it didn't go as planned but the Silverfish actions were amazing. Well done Scott Buckley

As soon as I heard Green play that first E, I thought, "Wait, is he going to do what I think he's going to do?"
Rhapsody in Blue made my heart soar, i recognized it as soon as i heard the first few notes. The Rush E battle was so chaotic and entertaining, and the ending was full on Tom and Jerry.....
I can recognize most of the music here…but the fact the animation made the music make more sense. Amazing. King Orange can’t go one day without something goin wrong with the staff.

Everyone keeps talking about the guitar part of Flight of the Bumble Bee, but I'll say the buildup before said section at 3:57 with the instruments joining the percussion is immaculate.
It's funny, I was just about to see the Lyon Symphony Orchestra play the day after the video!

It's absolutely incredible how Alan and his team are able to choreograph such an amazing fight scene set to Rush E of all things. I was in shock as soon as I heard that very first note. I truly don't think there was a better possible choice for the climax of this animation with the way it starts slow and menacing before slowly devolving into absolute chaos. It fits the scene so perfectly while simultaneously feeling like a love letter to the internet

Not to mention, it is actually very easy to play if you simplify it. I think there is potential for pieces that, even in their simplest musical form, still can't be played by a single human.

Is the hardest song in existance for a piano. Is humanly impossible to play and last time I checked when an automated piano did it it got caught on fire for how fast it was.
