A quick tutorial on using Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) to measure the quality of an image made to support the course "Engineering Optics" at Oklahoma State University
Thank you very much for this video! It was very helpful and the step-by-step explanation really helped me understand how the MTF is measured using real-life targets (i.e. the bars).
I know Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
Thanks for the clear and very informative information...We also have the MFT in our Medical Imaging system, am talking about the Digital Radiography using Flat Detector. Seems to me that it's completely the same principle.
Thanks a lot for this, I have a question, if I want to replace the X axis which is (mm) by F number which is aperture so I can be able to measure the sharpness of the lens at every F Stop and either at the center/edge of the image, am I able to do this?
Great explanation for the concept of MTF in imaging systems. Brief and to the point
Thank you! This was put straight to the point, simple to understand and very intuitive!
Best explanation of what MTF optic charts really represent I have ever seen! Thanks!
Ikr, i was struggling with MTF in CT Scan, thanks to this informative video, I fully understand the concept now

amazing explanation, thanks so much! funnily enough, saved my psychology (perception) exams!
Thanks a lot. These explanations are very clear for a beginner to follow!!
Thank you for that great explanation. You just made it easier to understand.
Excellent explanation, Thank you.
great intro to the MTF, thank you for a great explanation!.
Very well done. I finally understand MTF.
Simply great!
Thank you! I have an oral exam in medical imaging tomorrow and this has finally made it clear to me what is the MTF!

this is an extremely good introduction
Thank you~~very good explanation
Fantastic explanation, thank you!

Crisp explanation, Thanks!
Very Intuitive Explanation, Thank You :)
Really Great Job!
a perfect balance between technical depth and simplicity. Some other video try to avoid math totally while books would be too detailed. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Finally i got the idea!
Great video! Thanks!
Clearest explanation
Thank you very much. I learned a lot from this clip.
excellent explanation
Great video. Cheers
very clear information. thank you..
I mean what is the system or application do you use for modeling your examples?
Thank you!
Excellent
thank you
Thank you sir
thank you thank you thank you thank you
u saved me
Awesome
Great video! very well illustrated.
However what you say at 3:40 is wrong... cuz once you go black ya never go back!
No srsly, good job!
yep lenses have exactly this problem
Great explanation, thank you!
