Great video man very entertaining. Totally suggestion from a total stranger. You can put some black tape on your packages just to cover your personal info.
I'm surprised you got as many original cases or art as you did. Sometimes I just roll the dice too and if it doesn't come in the condition I want, I just return it.
I was talking about this the other day with my friends. That I looked up some gba and gbc games and was tempted in buying some. But, I know better. Gamestop employees are not trained to tell the difference between a real gb game and a fake game. So, if anyone wants to buy Pokemon Red/Blue for a fraction of the price at Gamestop, ONLY BUY ONE GAME AT A TIME. Because if you buy a lot, like this, you have to return the ENTIRE ONLINE ORDER. Early 2023, I bought around $200 on games and ordered ONE gba game. I saw it was fake. When I went to a store to return it, they told me to come back with the entire order and packaging. They do not accept online order returns unless everything is in the box. This might be something only in Texas, idk. But at its a decent gamble imo.
Dang that really sucks. I will say this I have a friend who works at gamestop and they actually are trained but the training videos they get are poor quality so it's not on the employees or even store managers fault. They just can't don't know better
The og Xbox games normally come in green cases. That black spot on the disc is probably a form of disc rot. Sadly nothing can be done. Hopefully your game is fine for now. Just keep it out of warm areas. That will help the games out to last longer. Sadly disc rot is a thing that effects physical media like disc based. Get a gamebit screw driver for the cartridge games. So you can open them up to clean them and to check the mother boards to see if they are real also. Great video. I just wanted to share with you to help out.
If im buying any games at gamestop for my ds, 3ds, wii or ps3 I will be going in store. I like buying games in good to very good condition and of course complete with everything.
It's really not part of the gamble if you use better outlets in person or online and do your research, I promise that I don't roll the dice like that and still pay very similar prices. everyone collects differently, but it almost seems like you threw away your money with GameStop purchase in certain aspects
@excaliburnorth446 see I could do that but this is me testing the website as opposed to the outlets as a way for others to see if they would like to use the website or not
Nice i got a huge PS3 collection great system i had more fun with PS3 than PS4. . Around summer 2022 i walked into my local gamestop i found ninja gaiden 3 razors edge PS3. .
I got ninja gaiden sigma 2 PS3 even a strategy guide for it this is my favorite in sigma series u even unlock clasisic costume for ryu hyabusa the protagonist
It's just a shame their system doesn't have 'missing original box' as a reason for returns. I imagine if they acknowledged most of their returns were returned because they were loose, that they might address that eventually.
@@Retrodan680 I don't hate it because I only buy from them at loose prices and still return if not complete. It's their problem to fix... But til they do it's on us to adjust how we value buying from them to make sure we always come out ahead.
Just a different perspective, I suppose but if everyone either held til the game dropped to loose price ( since that's all that's guaranteed ) and/ or returned any game which wasn't complete instead of taking the hit, that puts the pressure on them to either note completeness or sell for less.
@@Retrodan680 Gamestop can only sell them for as much as they do because people are buying at their prices and not returning them. We can't control them but we can control ourselves. If you only grab games when they drop below loose price (overall or during a 4forx/ b2g1 sale), then instead of the incomplete ones being a disappointment/ loss, the complete ones are a surprise/ bonus. Or roll the dice, then return the ones which are incomplete. They lose money shipping games that get returned. Taking the hit for them only condones and endorses their current practice. If every Gamestop unboxing ended with the person returning half the games they bought because they were incomplete, they'd start addressing completeness on their site listings.
iam sorry dan but i would have to say you spent way too much on those games. you showed the value of those games but considering the awful state they are in you would have to subtract a significant amount for the scratches on the disc to the missing manuals and or cases. some of these games would not even be wanted by most collectors. please dont give gamestop your hard earned money. your better off going to a goodwill or yard sale.
I subbed, I have faith you’ll continue to grown your channel
Thanks! That means a lot. My goal right now is a 1000 subs
The xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the GameCube, and the PlayStation 2!
