Correctly Using Choke When Starting PW50. PW50 Cold Starting

- Today's video shows you the correct way to use the choke on a PW50, and to be certain it is 100% closed when cold starting. If you are having issues starting your PW50 Cold, make sure you are fully closing the choke.
It can appear that the choke is fulled closed when lever is vertical, but this is not he case as it needs to be pushed further to fully close.

Best PW50 cold start video on CZcams!!!!! Couldn’t figure out cold start for years on my sons bike! Took 5 minutes to kick the damn thing with half open choke when it’s freezing temperatures. Took it to the dealer to try and adjust the choke and they didn’t even tell me that choke trick! Just tried what you said and started after 2 kicks! I’ll be damn!! Thank you sir! So do you ride with choke open or closed ? I’ve been riding with it fully open I think it’s supposed to be closed

Any advice for a pw50 choke that sticks on? Course crew told me my son's bike was running horrible mid race, and after 10min they figured out the choke was still on. They didn't elaborate. Are there any common failure points I should look at when I dig in? I plan to clean the carb first, haven't since it sat during winter. Cheers

what do u need to do if the bike will not idle without the chocke being opened 50%

Hey there the best thing to do if they fall over is to turn the fuel off and lay them on their side for about 10 seconds. After that pick it up, turn the fuel on and it should start in a few kicks
If there is anyone out there that can help me.when I have the choke half way the bike runs perfect but as soon as I put the choke all the way down to normal running position it revs up like crazy.what can I adjust to fixt this?
Are the older pw 50 2stroke
As far as I'm aware all Pw50s are the same 2 stroke motor
