You have a great group of friends that help with space to work and support
I’m a diy guy myself, but he is a step above me. Nice job.
Thanks!!
Loving the RV restoration even more than the boat repairs to be honest. Very satisfying.
Thanks!
I agree Erica. Davy always makes these things look easy, but I do know the amount of work he puts in and I’m always impress. Great job.
Thank you!
I'm impressed with Dave's ability to crack on. Most RV'ers I know, including myself, would have taken one look at that RV and walked away. Good on you folks.
There’s no way we would have taken on a project like this! (And we take on a lot) Davy is fearless! Crack on!
Thank you both!
Dave works smart, he has mad skills, knows his materials or as Dave puts it crack on.
Cheers!!
I mean, seeing him fixing that motorhome seems like a piece of cake compared to getting Barefoot sea worthy! Interior will be fun with all this carpet! 👍
I know right!
Yes you guys made it look easy so far, but time spent and hard work with available parts does help ease a lot of the repair pains
Crack on Davy. Erika I love hearing your voice and absolutely look forward to seeing you soon. 💗
Cheers
Awe....Way Too Short! Davy is Amazing!!!!
👍🇬🇧..Your friend is a godsend,big👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌 to him
That was a lot of work done on the rv! Keep on!!
I believe you guys did good with that purchase
Davy you are the man. Nice work.
Thanks!!!
Sea yacht or land yacht after the work you guys did on the Cat this ought be an interesting change, but still a serious task
well done you are impressive Dave
Wow he definitely does make it look easy!
That’s for sure!
Outstanding job!
Thank you!
Very cool work! You make it look so easy
Thanks!
Your an animal Dave u did an awesome job looks great, if you venture out to California with your RV you’re welcome to come out to my place I’ll take you on an adventure 🍻🍻🍻🍻🤘😎🚌
Do you have a link to the wood you bought for your roof ???
Some plywood by axle thick in epoxy no problem and you got shade LOL just kidding good luck , you can waterproof sailboat you got this.🤔🤓👍🤞👀
Davy the fixer upper..go for it flip it once your adventure in it is done...
Davy just plain works his tail off!
Wow.... Bravo 😀
Thanks!
Awsum guys
🙏
Slightly Crazy did u say, hmmmm maybe rethink that one!!! Good luck 😁 Impressive as usual U two, not used to seeing u on land though. Miss barefoot, but will eventually love the RV.🤣💙❤💜💛
We’ll be back on Barefoot soon enough. But will hopefully go on a road trip next hurricane season!
@@BarefootTravels yeah all sweet, just bloody jealous, my age has beat me. U two know me by know, just as Crazy as u are. Hows Foxy need to see her smiley face. Love ya later🇦🇺🇨🇦🤣🌈
Foxy is doing well! Enjoyed Canada and now being back on the boat!
@@BarefootTravels Thanks🤗
Crack on Davy! I’m very interested to see the aluminum work!
Unfortunately that clip is lost but basically it was just a bit of taping with a big hammer and jacking up from inside…… Rv repair is a walk in the park compared to boats
@@BarefootTravels hmm. I’ve done both… you’re brave! This RV is a big project but I’m enjoying watching you!
Davy with shoes on, totally Unbarefoot. 🤣🤣
I was waiting for someone to pick up on that!
@@BarefootTravels not really, he just stuck his toes in them.
Another project? Only three weeks to get her done. Wow!
The outside done in 3 weeks. Inside will take a little more
Very nice. Im very curious if these models have aluminum framing?
My 38’ Rv needs the roof seriously replaced. Is it a layer of OSB, 1/8” plywood on top and then the membrane?
Fair winds & following seas! I did the sailboat life for 5 years from Florida to Georgetown, Exuma.
Clever little dicky the man has talent now finish the inside of the catamaran. Always a good show Dave should have a side hustle as auctioneer .
😆 the inside of the catamaran is harder to finish in the Bahamas. Parts/paints etc are 10 times more expensive!
Once we get state side we will be finishing it though!
@@BarefootTravels love your travels an work .yer iv lived on island hear in Australia can be very hard to get things an being cut off .but your keeping us intrigued definitely love your exploring. Cheers from Cairns Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Cheers!!
Unrelated question if I may: I assume you guys have registered the catamaran in Ontario, so who are you using for insurance? I have a comparable cat that I need to insure in Ontario as well, and mine was also under hull repairs, but is now done. Great series, keep up the good work!
Thank you! We are what we call self insured as we don’t go into marinas and we are in hurricane zone at the moment. Will be looking into liability insurance before we go to the states on Barefoot
@@BarefootTravels Yeah, I am stuck needing marinas for at least one more year, as I cannot bring the cat outside the great lakes for another year; still some repairs to do. I just don't want to be on-the-hard forever... 😕
The hard is definitely a hard time. Good luck with the project!
What is the cardboard looking stuff called?
And what is the roof stuff called along with the glue?
By the time you are finished fixing the RV it will be worth a cool fifteen hundred bucks...
Not quite. We’re looking forward to using it a bit next hurricane season
Crack on shorty
What site did you purchase the RV from?
Copart
Davy could have made a lot more progress if we didn't have to stop for cheeseburgers every hour and a half. Davy is worse than my grandkids about stopping for a cheeseburger. You would think he hasn't seen a drive through in a few years.......
😂😆😂😆😂😆
Awesome 😎 I really love your channel, not only for the content but also because I'm a fellow traveler myself and I can definitely learn something from you. If you're ever curious, check me out ✌️
