Thanks so much for the observation. But it's also interesting to know that both "Adìẹ and Adìrẹ" are both same meaning and correct in the Yoruba vocabulary, though it's not commonly use in this modern generation. The word 'Adìrẹ" (meaning a domestic fowl) is used with other words for instance "Adìrẹdo" (Adìrẹ-odo) meaning a water-fowl. We also have Adìrẹ-irana meaning a fowl killed at the death of a person as his passport to the invisible world. Thanks gain for the opportunity to throw more light on this.

I went online to search for a good Yoruba CZcams to help my 8 years old improve his Yoruba language this summer since he will be home for 3months. I was excited when i came across this page for beginners and i did not listen/watch it before allowing my child to use this page to improve his sentence. I don't know the audience this page had in mind to help improve their Yoruba learning and speaking. My child came across some words that are typically not something we should promote in our language learning on CZcams. 7:31, 13:43, 17:15, and 17:34. These words isn't something we should be putting out there. Beginners could be any age group and i was so disappointed when my child came to me to ask me the meaning of I WANT TO HAVE SEX (17:34) in a CZcams learning video. I think you should put a lot into consideration before posting some videos because any age group could watch since its not rated and you don't have specific audience in Mind.

What does "a i tete m'ole ole n m'onile" mean? I was told it is a Yoruba phrase.

Yes, it's a Yoruba proverb that warns against being late in apprehending a thief, because a delay could prove costly. But the literal meaning as you mentioned earlier is simply "Not catching the thief on time, the thief caught the house owner.

This is arrant nonsense, since you wanted to talk about sex you should have censored it from children by at least rating your video.
