You all prolly dont care at all but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Joel Gunner thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Just when I thought I knew all the locos there I see that weird looking thing at 3:02, the red one at 3:37 and the one behind the Hymek at 5:08. Never seen any of those before!
Don't know why bad running engines always lure black-smoke-enthusiasts into daylight. You guys don't know what you're talking about. It's not the eco-thing you laugh at. Poor maintenance and a just barely sense for the requirements of vintage high-class diesels, as to be seen at ALL british Maybach powered locos today, in the first place harm and finally damage the rare MD 655s and MD 870s. That's what you might think about when you next time clap hands for a sputtering Hymek and their thick black clouds...
@@mickd6942 You should be! At one time it was accepted that smoking or drinking while pregnant or drink driving was fine. But people's attitudes changed when they were better educated. Soon those members of society were ostracised. Same is happening with those who don't care about clag and greenhouse gas pollution.
I knew these locos when they first came out in the early 60's. Blue smoke, yes, but not black. . They were good locos and I had several fast runs behind them. Paddington to Reading.
They were designed for shorter distance operation only (having just the one engine - in comparison with the Westerns that had two. Used to see them a lot when I was a child in Plymouth (Houndiscombe Terrace, Mutley Plain, so very near Plymouth Station). They used to pull the local service down to Tavistock, or up to Newton Abbott.
Running a bit rich? No worries, give it big licks anyway!!!! Despite a lifetime of disliking most things GWR I have something of a soft spot for some Maybach music.....
Great phasing sound @7.25. Thanks for the upload.
2:09 That's my kind of clag!! Epic video.

Gosh Bolton Street station does look very strange without the canopy on platform 2
Superb video, thank you so much for sharing ;-)

Dokker62 Not damaged MD 655s and MD 870s but repaired and restored at great expense and effort. Otherwise we would not see and enjoy them...
Im crying more for yhr hymeck. Thick black smoke can be a sign of engine trouble
I nearly spat out my osprey egg omelette laughing at that
Looks like a small class 47.
Look at the hydraulic diesel
The clag oh god the clag , would still pass vw's emisions test though,
We don't celebrate clag any more, it is not cool, due to environmental pollution and global warming climate change.

@@mickd6942 I'm speaking for everyone. Attitudes have changed. It's socially unacceptable to celebrate "clag" now. You will become an outcast.

I never saw black smoke from a Hymek when they were in service. Something is horribly wrong.
No its perfectly normal the black smoke will clear once the loco gets going.

Chris Williams in preservation the don't get the high speed runs to clear them out
@@mickd6942 That's what I think, they probably get a carbon build up, hence the clag?

Never mind, a lot of rail fans jealous of the GWR
God's Wonderful Railway - and the only one of The Big Four that was NOT bankrupt at the end of WW2.
@@phils4634 Half of the "Westerns" were built at Crewe for GWR! Swindon couldn't manufacture the full order.
At 0:39, looks like a 37 has tyres
That's a cab of 40088
CLAG XD
Certainly pumps a lot of shit out of the exhaust...
