@@mikeblalock4116 Gottcha they are called shot plates, in jewelry fabrication you would melt a piece of silver or gold into a ball (called shot) and place it into the impression and hit it with a hammer... pulling out the ball and having a patterned shot to use... short video of the process... czcams.com/video/Z9RdYdUJ5RE/video.html
