    Great educational video over all, specially on my area of expertise, the roof. I see you know your roofing stuff .At One Legacy Roofing I love to say we know it all, but we don't. The ladder against the chimney is good safe spot when available. This also help protect gutters if there is any on a home, We also like to find the leas risk areas when getting on a roof. We love watching your videos as we are a General contractor. We like to inform or share some areas or attention to home owners not pertaining to roof. And one way of keeping up with education is by watching you guys the Pros. Thank you Chris and A Action home inspection.

    Good video.
    I'm a Texas inspector as well and I like watching your videos for tips and tricks. Keep it up.

    In process of buying a home and inspector pointed out an issue with the sewer line on the driveway. Have no idea how much that would cost, any clues? Also a minor crack on the basement. This is 1980's home. They had a flood a long time ago, but remedied with roof replacement.

      Sewer lines can get very expensive, I would go off the inspectors recommendation and get a quote from a plumber.
      Minor crack will be in most basements. I do have very little knowledge on basements because I am from south Texas.

    How and where do you guys report on the components that aren’t required but as extra like the fence, do you add it in optional or other ( in the rei 7.5)

    Do you have a pattern in the crawl space as in the outside perimeter then in or do you just go back and forth along the joists?

    Hi Chris, thank you for the videos. How long is your average home inspection ??

    Can you explain the AC unit and breaker issue in a little more depth. You said you don't want an AFCI on a ac unit?

    • @AActionHomeInspectionHouston
      @AActionHomeInspectionHouston  Před 3 lety +1

      From what I have seen, the HVAC units trip the AFCI breakers often. I honestly dont know why this happens. Maybe an electrician can weigh in on the comment. The main problem is they had a breaker too small for the condenser. This will cause the unit to trip the breaker often.

      @@AActionHomeInspectionHouston Is this something you see often? I would love a top 5 most common or quick tips of each home system. Thanks again!

  • @horizonpointinspections120

    Why don’t they have any gutters?

    • @AActionHomeInspectionHouston
      @AActionHomeInspectionHouston  Před 4 lety +1

      Most homes do not have gutter in Texas. Builders consider them an upgrade because they are not required.

  • @hispeed69

    Good catch on the kick out missing. Recommending a gutter on that side is a great idea. Surprised you didn’t find any WDO with all that food on the ground!
