Yeah, I’ve listened to RED, Flyleaf, some Letter Black. Then my tastes shifted to A Plea For Purging, Point Blank Rage, Bloody Sunday...and later, Blood Covenant, Wintersoul, Armath Sargon, Nattesorg, Hesychast, some Reverorum ib Malacht...for examples. Now I’m trying to become a GarageBand “musician” (with what I call technical dark ambient/structured noise, mostly), all with Christian themes that aren’t always “feel-good”, but biblical reality. My medium for decades has been photography, and have had images used as album covers for Scandinavian and Canadian Christian metal artists; I’m experimenting with music to accompany my pictorial biblical illustrations. The likes of Phil Driscoll, Sandi Patti and Amy Grant might look askance at my work 😄😄 but there’s a few who can relate at times. 😊 BTW, your channel popped up at random and not many like yours does so. 👍🏼
I just found your channel on accident looking how to create lyric videos, and now I am ADDICTED to RED! Omg thank you for showing me new bands Ethelia! :) Also I love your voice, it is so pretty and youthful! I wish my voice sounded like that more
Aww, thanks! I actually kind of hate my voice, I feel like I sound like a kid lol. I became a fan of RED because of a lyric video that I saw for one of their songs, and my whole purpose in making lyric videos is the hope that I might be able to help other people find their music the same way I did, so it means a lot to me to know that it's worked!
@@Etheliajumper Your voice is so pretty! Have you ever tried singing? :D I hope you don't let anyone tell you your voice sounds like a kid because you are super lucky to have such a pretty voice. I love that your purpose is being reached because it helped me find you and RED so I am so happy for that discovery! How long have you known RED?
@@TanyaKatherine Yes, I sing, and everyone tells me that I have a great singing voice, but I don't really believe it. Like, I believe that I sound good when I sing, but so do 80% of girls out there and I don't think I sound any better than them, you know? I honestly don't remember when I discovered RED. It was after Until We Have Faces came out, but before Release The Panic, and my first video for them on youtube dates back to mid 2012, so obviously I knew about them before that. Based on that, I'd guess I first discovered RED sometime in 2011.

Yeah, I have friends who like them so I thought hey, I'll get their autograph and then listen to their music and if I don't like it I can give the signed poster to one of my friends. But then I never got around to listening to their music and I still have the poster a year and a half later...
