  • Hi everyone! Today I'm showing you how to make this elegant micro macrame bracelet in elven style.
    To make this bracelet, you will need:
    polyester cord 0.8mm, 8 x 75 cm
    1 bead 4mm
    seed beads

    I have made quite large macrame projects like room dividers incorporating hanging plants, hammocks, volleyball nets, vests, plant hangers, ..... . I never imagined making something so delicate. You have inspired me.

    Lovely bracelet, but are there left and right knots? I can see where you change the direction of the knot on some but for other knots your hands are out of the frame.

      Learn basic macrame first. They're double half hitch knots. I'd definitely recommend mastering that knot with regular cord before even attempting something like this.

    How do you keep your knots so neat and perfect? I am using similar size cord but its nylon. Maybe that is why it feels so slippery in comparison maybe?

      It just takes some practice. When I first started, my knots looked horrible, it does take a little bit of time to get a hang of it. Keep going, I'm sure you'll get better at it!

    You didn't show enough of your hands. I couldn't see which cord crossed over top for the knots.🫤

    New subscriber and new to macrame, but I'm certainly going to try this. Question, I'm looking on Amazon for the polyester cord, and some show as "waxed". Is that what i should buy, or can I get nylon knot cord?

    Perhaps the most frustrating video I have ever seen. If this is a beginner micro macrame project, please show the entire cord. I have the video slowed down to 25% speed and still cannot see which cord is under & which is over.

      Vous pouvez relentir la vitesse de la video en la modifiant dans les parametres. Je ne parle pas bien le francais mais j'espere vous avez compris cette explication.
      You can slow down the speed of the video in settings ( the gear icon) by changing the playback speed.

      Seems pretty simple to me (compl newb) I am going to give it a try with embroidery thread- the knots look pretty simple and I can clearly see when she switches the lead threads- wish me luck!

      They’re square knots. You can easily fin a tutorial teaching you how to make square knots. This tutorial is excellent. She goes slowly and is sharing her talent, skill, and gorgeous creation.

    Very difficult video. Most of the knors are tied off of Camera and then pulled tight quickly so you can’t see how it’s done, had to refer to other channels to find help on this tutorial. Sorry very disappointing.

      It was my first bracelet after the simplest Shambhala. However, I had to make 3 attempts to get it started. I watched the video 10 times at a speed of 0.5, keeping a close eye on every movement.

      You can slow down the video by adjusting the speed in the video settings.

      ​@@nodanturtutorialsI slowed it down all the way at time but still have trouble with the knot directions, as others are mentioning. Maybe you could add notation, like what you did with the number of knots to add, just abbreviate F, B, FB, BF or the equivalent in under-over or other abbreviation for the terminology for macrame knot names?
