RIP Glenn Webb
I still watch his videos from time to time.
Me too
He was a Marvel Legend.
Yeah 9:33 hit hard as a rock RIP Glenn Webb. Poor guy hit his sub goal of (I think) 100k only a day after he died or something.😥😣😪😫😭😢😖😞😟
When he started using his thumbnails it made me sad 😔
We need a Ghost Rider wave with Ghost Rider, Blackheart, Mephisto, Vengeance, Zadkiel etc. Just think of how quickly that would sell out lol
I don’t think it ruins a baf when they rerelease it. If the value goes down oh well I’m not buying action figures to make money I’m buying them to have fun.
TheBatWho LaughsOO agreed, I don’t really care that some of my older figures are valuable because I don’t really intend to get rid of them anyway. If they can do it better I’ll take the new one and if I like the old one better then I get to save money lol
And usually when there rereleased they are even better then before
I dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Cohen Jadiel instablaster ;)
@Erik Boone I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out now.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
They have showed off three of the figures in the Strong Guy wave, Sun Spot Warpath and X factor Deadpool.
That's true.
Too bad you'll end up with multiple Ironman, spiderman, captain america while collecting these instead of other characters like villains or side characters.
My favorite build a figure is fin fang foom and is also my favorite marvel legend figure ever made
Wow.. thank you so much !! So nice to see ALL THESE TOYS
I would have been gaga for this as a youngster . Always wanted more realistic figures back then . Glad to see someone got them since I didn't .
Man love this video soo much man thanks for that update brother Blessings, don't stop collecting buddy.
OG Sam Raimi full sand sandman looks great. Wouldn't mind collecting that one.
Good to see I'm not the only one who wants an armor baf
Awesome list compiled. Thanks.
Awesome summary! Thanx for documenting this.....I think I have managed to scrap together about ten of these BAF figs.....through buying the more common figs when they get marked down and then trying to get the remaining missing pieces through eBay sellers.....the early BAFs were the greatest imho.....due to their size and detail.....I have the Galactus and the Sentinel....and I'll never surrender them LOL!
I agree. Love those Toybiz BAF.
@1:08 i love voice crack onslaught!
It happens. Lol.
Wonder if Hasbro will ever attempt a baf of Cameron Hodge, in his cyborg appearance, from the "X-Tinction Agenda" storyline.
I seriously doubt it. But would be awesome to see one day.
Would be awesome!
Genial recopilación de información. Es mi guía para seleccionar y comprar figuras. Gracias !!!.
Hello...Thank you sooo much for ALL the Definitive check list....
Hasbro stuff looks so plain next to the detail in most toybiz
Most collectors i talk to consider this a hot take but it's pretty accurate. An amalgam of both styles would be preferable for my tastes
I hate that Hasbro stuff consists of the same body released a gazillion times with just a different head, flimsy tacked on straps/belts and painted on clothes.....
I enjoy everything about my collection. Looking at them setting them up in different poses. Toy hunting is always a fun time
So agree
Still looking for a sentinel. Love manthing. And new love the spdr. Great 👍video.
Man i love my Sauron. I got the original first 90s version of him now.
I have A LOT of the toy box versions. Used a lot for customs
Thank you so much for posting this video
Bro your views on this video are insane for 5 days wow hats off to you top video 👌👌👌
Honestly I would rather a figure's value drops and more people get a chance to own it. It's nice to have rare stuff but in my opinion the whole point of toy collecting should be for people to enjoy themselves and build awesome collections, not have to pay hundreds of pounds to complete it on the secondary market.
I agree. I buy these for fun and to admire not to flip and try to make money.
A video i didn't know i needed.
Great work sir.
Best BAF toybiz 2005-2006
Modok
@@zacjacdan thanks to your video i got some BAF. You must do DC BAF
From you list of most wanted Nimrod and the Awesome Android are my favorite ones.
The 2 AoA Wolverine figures in the Walmart Giant Man wave each had a different part for the BAF
Great video. A couple of comments though. For the Toy Biz Apocalypse wave you said that the blue version came with one set of figures and the black version came with the variants, but you could get any figure in that wave with either blue or black versions of the baf pieces. Also with the Legendary Heroes sets there is a Mad Man variant (yellow arms), it was a variant of the Madman figure in the Pitt wave, but was released with the Monkey Man wave (as far as I can ascertain at least).
I had already updated the madman czcams.com/video/r760No2wtKY/video.html but I was not aware of the Toybiz apocalypse issue.
In the Annihilus wave the Hulk had a silver arm variant
Was gonna say same thing. Hulk Silver Arm Variant and there also was a Variant for the Iron Man Figure. Both were same exact Iron Man Figure difference was one was packed with Helmet on and they other Helmet was off
Imagine how sad people are going to be when they release a new Blob BAF, and all those $200 and $300 original blobs online have to drop to only $80 for someone to even consider buying them.
-
We want a new Pyro, a new Avalanche, and for God's sake, a new Toad with articulation!
-
I personally would love to see a Mammomax BAF.
Mammomax would be awesome. Pyro avalanche and toad definitley need love.
If D.C. had the Build A Legend Figures of the 12 or 14inch legendary Swamp Thing figure which would be so badass to own 😁😃💕💕💕💕💕💕
In the legendary heroes Pitt wave, madman actually had a variant. He came with yellow arms. Annihilus wave also had variants. One was silver armed hulk and ultimate iron man (one was packaged with the helmet on and one wasn’t). Same with scarlet spider. One was posed plain and one was kicking, though I guess scarlet and iron man aren’t really a variants. Nemesis supposedly had variant pieces similar to apocalypse with his being a translucent orange plastic instead of the plain orange plastic. Not sure if that last one is true though
Those will be added the next time this video is updated and released again. Thanks.
ZacJacDan you’re welcome
Thanks for this vid.
Wow dude great vid. This is astounding and astonishing. Also humbling lol. Filled with pride too.
Good presentation.
Brilliant idea for a video
Really well done vid man good job
You got a like
Thanks man.
Great video man I hope Hasbro will make a new Rouge with better head sculpt
Don't forget to check out my every marvel legends Rogue video when it comes out Oct 27 8am edt
Man I wish I'd have started collecting sooner. A lot of these figures are sooo awesome but sooo expensive. I guess the bright side of things is I won't let myself miss out on the cool sets again!
I’ve got 80-90%. Need to finish most of two newer ones. Will never find some
Just an FYI to the Creator of this video and anyone else watching, with the Toybiz Apocalypse figure it is stated that even though you might have a variant of one of the characters, this DOES NOT guarantee that you will get the Black Apocalypse part, in other words, you'd have to still hunt for the figures who have the Black variant piece.
That is true and noted in the card. Thanks. And I have many updated videos since this one posted.
Awesome
i got 2 of the BAFs, the sentinel and MODOK
That was fun thanks!
Awesome. Glad you enjoyed.
WOW! Did not know there were that many BAF's. Thanks for putting this video up.
And hopefully there will be many many more.
Nice.
The rocket raccoon I didn’t know about. Never could find the puck figure set. That was a store exclusive
I just sold my puck. Probably shouldn't have. But preordered the alpha flight set. So won't need 2.
Very good video
I wish that Monkey Man figure came out as a BAF right now
The Toy Biz Onslaught build a figure did a appeared in the comics, in Uncanny X-Men #336.
I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out. I was always confused why he didn't have the magneto helmet on the Toybiz baf.
@@zacjacdan he even appeared in that form in the 1st Marvel vs Capcom game.
Actually it was BOTH forms.
Good job now you have a nimrod
Please Hasbro for a future wave make a build a figure of marvel Godzilla
The variants for the Apocalypse BAF did not build the black version, blue and black parts were packaged with all versions of the figures for instance, either Sasquatch could come with a blue or black right arm even though the black was shown on the packages! This is a common misconception! There was a variant Hulk with a silver arm in the Annihilus wave!
There is an updated video. Thanks.
Thatwas the second form of onslaught I thought it looked dead on.
Ik admit it was crammed in but it was toy biz
never knew that was space venom i always wondered why his eyes were weird looking haha
Any idea what the new BaF for the Fantastic Four wave thats going to be coming out soon is going to be?
Hopefully it's Galactus
It will probably be dragonman
Nope! It is the Super Skrull
@@juanarasa2298 yep. Check out my updated videos for baf and all the ff members. Also doom and she-hulk and skrull have been updated.
Great video, I own 26 of those and a lot of loose parts 😂, are you making a DC baf video also? 👍
Yes I am making a dc collect and connect video.
I own 52 right now. But I don't collect mcu. And I've sold puck, Toybiz apocalypse, and pitt.
I'll be waiting for that one, I just start watching your other videos , subscribed 👊
Cant wait for the DC video
Udon taskmaster was a great soldier builder
Other build a figure that should be made Stlit man, eternity, the Griffin, the missing Link, Red Ronin, devil dinosaur
Eternity and devil dinosaur 100%
Devil Dinosaur is such a good idea. i would buy it instantly just for a highly articulated red t-rex figure
I regret not grabbing gladiator Hulk and Smart Hulk... now they cost too high
Sold them both. Probably to soon.
My wish list for a build a figure are It the living Colossus, Blackheart, the watcher, bi-beast, the Frankenstein monster, any of the celestials, the in-betweener, the Sphinx
Why does this sound like one of my school presentations😄
Well. I guess because I'm just a person. Not a professional speaker. Lol.
I have some of those
Darn it I wanna own these.
I love my PITT BAF figure
i have them all and more
🔥🤟🏻
Since you put Black & Blue Apocalypse on the list. There is a Purple & Pink Annihilus and the purple part came with silver armed Hulk, pink part came with green armed Hulk.
My updated video has that. Thanks
Can you pls add the years each BAF was released in your video description?
Done
@@zacjacdan Wow! Awesome man! Thank you!
@@zacjacdan By my count Strong Guy will be the 69th BAF... wow
I updated the list with monkey man pitt and the variants. So it's actually more.
toybiz did better for me, dont regret saving my school allowance to buy those...and just glad I skipped first decade of Hasbro waves, those look unappealling to say the least...lol!...started only collecting again with HulkBuster Iron Man wave only because of Wal-greens $12,99 sale, which had a good 6 series run....
Toy bis mandava muito muito bem , nas escolhas dos personagens
Their character choices were amazing
how sick would it be for hasbro to bring back variants
dumb ugly after psylocke and mysterio’s variants came out and they became very expensive and rare, hasbro said they’d quit making variants. Which is probably for the best since resellers went nuts with them
@@BoogSReviews and the included comic book with some ads?
Wish I could marry Hasbro’s improved anatomical proportions and attractive face sculpts with ToyBiz’s washes, finishes and unique sculpted on details....
Agree so much. It's been hard deciding to keep the Toybiz or not when Hasbro puts out the same character again.
ToyBiz used to even do “base skin tone” paint and even paint the lips on male characters.... and don’t get me started on Hasbro’s loose skirts/belts/cuffs/straps.... so lazy and cheap!
ToyBiz’s Original X-Men movie Wolverine Rogue 2-pack had Logan’s 5 o’clock shadow, the denim wash and his shirts swirly pattern painted on!.... you’d never see that much paint application on a figure in 2019!
I agree with the body proportions part , as far as face sculpts some Toybiz figures have more character then Hasbro , Hasbro's tend to look generic AF. Toybiz all the way once you get past the body proportions there's just so much more with Toybiz , The only thing I can say Hasbro has done better is the female characters .
Sentinel was Awesome
I wish Hasbro re release the toybiz sentinel and modok.
Those are great ones. But I think there are so many more that need to be made 1st. I think those Toybiz still hold up.
@@zacjacdan I'd be happy with a good Giant Man
@@zacjacdan Not the tiny MCU one
I think the waves obvious for strong guy.
1. Xman
2. AOA wolvie
3. Morph
4. Sun spot
5. Warpath
6. XFACTOR Deadpool
Yes
It was revealed that Sunspot will be part of a vintage wave.
@@manuelyoung638 if that is 100 percent accurate then yeah theres 2 more in wave for the baf which means theres 3 to 4 more retro Xforce villains/heroes to reveal
You showed the wrong thanos for the European exclusive thanos
Annihilus had 2 variants planet hulk with and without armour and clear and solid emma frost
The hulk was UPDATED in a newer video. But the diamond emma was actually a tru exclusive
Can you still buy the ToyBiz sets?
czcams.com/video/fUc65xOO83U/video.html
Can anyone pinpoint the start of where the paint quality began to decline? I wanna say it was right around the APOCALYPSE build a figure wave that i started noticing messy paints, bad lines, mistakes, and lots of head paint issues....
Infinite Series hasbro
Pitt was the coolest
Legendary heroes line was NOT part of Marvel's line, that's when toy biz's contract ended with marvel legends because they weren't making enough money and spending too much on figure designs. So toy biz split up and did their own work, but failed again when not many people were buying them and spent too much on designs again. A very good wave I'll say. That's when marvel gave the license to hasbro to make marvel legends, at first it was soo bad and disappointing, but hasbro has gotten a lot better over the years, but have the issue of being very very cheap and abusing body molds like bucky buck, female bucks, hyperion bucks.
I think collecting shouldnt be about value. You should collect what you want to collect because you like it. If it has value, great. If it doesnt, then you have it because you like it. I just hope everyone understands that they rerelease figures to get more people to have their hands on the things they create. Because if new collectors have to go on the second market and pay double or triple the price on figures they missed, there wont be new collectors. And if that happens we wont get the upgraded paint jobs and sculpts that we all hope for
I completely understand your point about new collectors. However. In order for me to afford to collect, I have to sell and buy and sell and buy. I have gotten rid of figures I love because they had a good value which allows me to buy new figures as we go. So yes, I have to think about if my figures have value or not. I don't have unlimited funds. I wish I did.
Completely agree. With how much they put out its almost impossible to have everything. I didn't think about it from that standpoint since i only limit myself to the ones I really like (because of budgets etc.). So thanks for giving me that alternative perspective!
No monster Venom?
4:00 7:46 11:13 15:14 24:13 24:47 Are the parts that have robots and they are my favorite and they are the sentinel, apocalypse normal and black varients, Holocaust, arnim zola normal and red skull varients, iron monger, mandroid, MCU hulkbuster, ultron prime, age of Ultron hulkbuster (2016), 2018 apocalypse, SP//dr, kree sentry, new mutants warlock, red onslaught, crimson Dynamo (in the video that's updated) and the other build a figures that are not robots. so I will add them to my Christmas list after my birthday on June.
I don't think the value goes down when they re-release a figure, tbh it's better because selfish greedy sculpers are screwed over for hoarding and selling figures for 3x the worth lol
I think hasbro should make a new modok for the rider series, In the same style as professor x
That's an interesting thought. And I'm sure there are people out there that don't have the Toybiz MODOK. But that Toybiz is a classic.
Yeah true, but I would love to see hasbros take on it ya know?
When you miss the space knight venom baf
16:41 space venom 24:49 space venom 25:37 space venom dead center. What do you mean I missed him ?
you forgot to mention the Sentry varients he had a bright yellow varient and a darker mustard colored version each had a bearded version too meaning this figure had the most varients in one wave !
1:46 pretty sure I have them all pictured.
@@zacjacdan Ah yes i rewatched again my bad however i wish you had shown close up's of the varients though !
@@sodondanala2334 there will be a every marvel legends sentry video coming November 7th with those pics. Stay tuned.
@@zacjacdan Most Excellent i wish the prices would go back down to the 5.99 - 7.99 price range again i mean jeeze plastic isnt that expensive darn it !~lol
@@sodondanala2334 totally agree. Check out czcams.com/video/BileOi-AQPA/video.html
I wanna see a new galactus
Especially if the haslab is a huge sentinel
You can tell youre more of a seller than collector
Nope. I have over 600 legends. Love collecting.
But I've had to sell in order to keep collecting. Expensive hobbie.
most people like it when the prices go down so they can afford them, well people who collect anyways
@@AnonYmous-wm6wq I agree. Unless I spent the high price for it. I want it to keep its value.
sure man
The loose value comment you keep on saying is that a bad thing surely releasing the BAFS again is a good thing for those he dont have them? Or an I missing something?
czcams.com/video/BileOi-AQPA/video.html
Check this video out. It might explain.

Proyecto Nimrod. BAF
Nimrod
Why do you care about value. If that’s the reason you collect. You collect for the wrong reason.
I appreciate your opinion. But if I spent $100 on a BAF and it gets released for $20 and it's an even better figure. That bothers me.
You keep mentioning rereleases and the value of a BAF going down. So what? That only matters to people who want to SELL their figures, it's great for the people who WANT the figures. Buy some stocks if you want something to resell later.
I'm not made of money, So I have to buy and sell all the time in order to keep collecting. So if I spend $100 on a BAF and then it gets rereleased down the road for $19.99 it a bit upsetting to me. Just my opinion.
