Spring is finally here and the Wilmington & Western Railroad has just kicked off its steam season along Delaware’s scenic Red Clay Valley. The railroad’s ex-Atlanta Birmingham & Atlantic 0-6-0 “Switcher” #58, a 1907 Baldwin product, has been the staple of the Easter Bunny Express for years, hauling these excursions by itself for hundreds of visitors. This video features scenes from both 2022 and 2023 of these Easter Bunny Express excursions between Greenbank Station and Ashland, DE. Now, please enjoy this exciting video brought to you by by Blue Comet Productions!
This video was filmed on April 15th, 2022 and April 2nd, 2023.
This looks like a very professional operation with crews very proud of what they are apart of. Excellent video, well done

98: I’ll be back!
92: Me too!
splendid footage, what filming equipment did you use?
great composition, so many real exceptional views. Does that engine run on weekdays? its a 2.5 hour drive from here in central NJ and we would prefer to drive on a week day . Gary
Why do they need to blow that damn whistle so much?
WIFE BAD
Because I like blowing the whistle!!
What kind of whistle did it had on that day?
ALCo 5
Beautiful videography, and lovely to see 58 and the W&W getting some more up to date attention. Personally I still cannot come around to 58’s new welded tender tank. It just looks almost childish with no details on the side, to me, but then again I love a riveted tank. At least it still has proper trucks and box covers. Regardless of that detail, thank you for the wonderful angles and audio.
What happened to 98?
@@csgptg It is undergoing an overhaul, as I understand it. I believe the overhaul is nearing completion however, so hopefully it will be steaming again.
