CTA Proterra BE40

CTA's Proterra electric bus fleet is officially in service on the #66 Chicago route. Bus #600 is one of the 40 electric buses ordered from Proterra to expand CTA's electric bus fleet. CTA plans to have an all electric fleet by 2040. Featured in this video are the way the overhead chargers at Navy Pier and Chicago/Austin terminals work and a ride video.
