For those of you who are shocked by this, I suggest you search the 1953 Coup of Mohammed Mossadegh, the very popular PM of Iran who tried to nationalize the oil industry, as well as the Shah's secret police, SAVAK. While he might have been a puppet for the Americans, that is still not something I can support. Merci.

Moi ma famille à partiellement fuit, aujourd'hui mais parents habite toujours en Iran mais ont a vécu au Luxembourg en France et au Japon, c'est pas seulement une histoire d'argent je ne sais pas comment vous voyez les choses, dans ma famille ont est avocat depuis presque 1 siècle et oui ma famille avait de l'argent mais ont été pas liée au pouvoir, par contre si tu étais liée au pouvoir c'était fini pour toi fuir été une des seul solution !

They behave and dress nothing like 99% of Iranians. They seem very happy where they are now and enjoying their way of living. They would be happier continuing the way they are because Iran and the world have moved on.
@chadiranian not talking about what they wear when partying. They don’t relate to the vast majority of Iranian and the vast majority don’t relate to them. The Shah talked a great game but didn’t deliver what the people were looking for. That’s why he was overthrown. His son and his followers are even more detached from the vast majority of Iranians. That’s why they will keep agitating but never succeed.
