I've been reading The Infinite Way, someone did me very wrong one night and it broke my heart, then I read some more and I remember who I am, It was like what people call receiving the gift of The Holy Spirit which I experianced in 2013. Now October 6th or 7th 2020 All the 2 and 2s became clear to me . I remember Who I am ,I laughed for hours I'm so glad I know who we are . Bless you Joel S. Goldsmith.

Wow! This robs the ego of it's whole game. As my mind brought up habitual thoughts of good, lack , judgements and projections and I replaced it with 'there is only God acting here" I felt an unsettling nausea almost, as the energetic status quo was deflated.. I even felt a fear of loss of something and the fear of boredom or no change. I need to have faith that what will replace it will be better.This may be be the simplest yet the most difficult thing. Well the difficult has no power I guess, just the willingness to persist.. Blessings to all on our journey together.
I have noticed the sensation you describe many times, ie 'unsettling nausea , almost' and I always realize now that it is just the resistance of Carnal Mind, Mortal Mind , Hypnosis, mirage or whatever name you give to 'Nothingness " just before it disappears back into nothingness. And yes there is that momentary feeling that somethings 'wrong' or as you put it something like loss maybe.I guess it is when you are a little bit outside of that 'I' and you want back in.

What a great description.....of that which hypnotizes because we are swimming in it ! Born in it and born into it again. ! Who was the Greek mystic? I want to know him! A common belief ( and something I believed at one time) was that 'dead' people hang around and cause problems ,sometimes, for the living. I finally realized that the 'problem' part is really the thoughts that are what you were brought up thinking, and that are still hanging around, (like attracts like, same energy etc) that maybe you aligned with as you aligned with , say, a parent. What I think now is that when people move on into the next plane of existence, they do leave their mental belongings to the ' personality bank' that we all have to deal with ( I also like the word Miasm) and kind of unplug from the physical world. Not that they can't interact, and not that in that realm you obtain a higher consciousness than what you had. It's more like they realize they can't 'do' anything physical or 'have' anything physical and , for most people, that's what their world was all about, so now what? So then the BIG thing here is what you said about bringing in the higher self and that weird feeling. I can't help but think that's something worthless from the pool of characteristics, left behind, that just went 'poof'. I agree, very much, we need to give it the HIGHEST attention. I think that is how we make a difference by thinking a thought. Thank you so much!

However, if one wants more info about cause instead of the endless effects of consciousness, then I would recommend the book by Glenda Green called Love Without End, the first and best of her series of three about the info imparted to her by an anomalous encounter with a being that speaks with an elegance, specificity and grace that is a treasure in my experience, places you in your right beingness, enlightens what command was given us and of what and how to restore ourselves. to serve. He says that if even six of us were to return to our center, we could command any change to reverse the damage to this endangered. reality.The story is fascinating, but only a parenthesis to the info we need.It contains only complete thoughts, a rarity, leaving no 'open' questions to drain us. Because the creation is a 'bestowed, our highest role is to use what was given to bestow forward. The carnal mind and it's associations with the body and thought can create a residual 'biological spirit' which continues to exist for a while, deteriorating slowly as uranium does with a half life., as it isn't connected to a source..The real us is a piece of source itself, however, all is a manifestation of love. Yes that's the one thing we miss out on through these recordings, is being there and being able to meditate with Joel. So I really like the times he is just speaking softly and really connected and leading thought in the right direction. Thank you

In any of Joel's writings or audio recordings does he specifically address alcoholism? I feel a bit confused because he says we are not suppose to ask God for anything but in Alcoholics Anonymous as part of the program you do rely on God as higher power.

It's a belief in a power other than God whether you call it alcoholism or cancer or accident. Or you can think of it as a place where ALL cannot permeate which, of course, is illogical even by human definition.

I have somewhat of a background in Christian Science but Joel really explains things much better in my opinion but it's also a different approach. With CS there is more emphasis on health overcoming disease....but the way Joel explains it is more like there's nothing actual to overcome. It's similar but in different terms.
