It should taste good enough to compete with the best camping food at minimum and most camping food is horrible so it's not a high bar.

Sanity586, instead of being such a know-it-all and stating the obvious… why don’t you thank this man for his time and effort? You are watching the video and leaving unsupportive comments, instead - try saying thank you. You weren’t brought up very well, and probably aren’t that intelligent.
What about cost? More bang for the buck! I don't care about the taste. When your out of food it's gonna taste like a steak.
I get what you're saying, but I do care about the taste until I'm starving, then I wouldn't care. But I totally understand where you're coming from. Cost is always at the top of my list too. Check this out:

@@GrayTrendhaha funnily enough your voice is very soft and calm so it was very relaxing to listen to it while I did other stuff but for the algorithm condensing will probably improve your watch time statistic and help the videos spread more. Keep it up though this is much appreciated, as I said I enjoyed the video 😊

Pardon my cheekiness but what does a "Patriot supply" mean?, I am Swedish and I hear this all the time without any description. Is it an American thing only, and if so, what is it? (I am not stupid, I know what patriot means), just explain it to me so I can get a grasp

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I get it. I've been through a couple of hurricanes when my wife and I were stationed in Florida. After the last hurricane I was in we went a week without power. Since this video I have stored enough propane gas and water to last me a while. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the comment! Yes, this was a taste test straight out of the package with no additional seasoning. Like I said, if the situation I was in that forced me to use my survival food lasted, I'm sure my family and I'd gladly eat through all of the survival food... and I'd probably throw in some salt and pepper.
Let me guess, you bought ready wise.....and now you're defending your purchase, making yourself feel like you made the best choice.

I video taped the process I went through, and how the food tasted to me. People’s tastes vary. I was curious how each brand tastes to me and now anyone that watches the video know. That’s about it. Appreciate your time, I’d rather not waste my money and find out during the apocalypse I bought the wrong brand.
Yes, I've been through a couple of hurricanes when I was in the Navy and stationed in Florida. The first hurricane that went through my area caused us to go 2 weeks without power. We found out quickly that local food and water supplies were mostly gone within a few days. I had no generator and my perishable food was either eaten or gone bad by the 4th day. I wound up taking leave and driving north to central Georgia to stay with family until power was restored. That was a life lesson for me. @@howto6178 Thanks for the comment! The lady here is actually nice. She commented on another video of mine and was very complimentary. I believe her main goal of watching these types of videos was to make sure what she was going to purchase met all the survival requirements for her, but also had a good taste. To me, comments are like e-mails, a lot of times you don't get the complete picture of what someone's attempting to convey. I try to lean toward thinking people are attempting to be nice.
