ARNEL PINEDA is a human being who has been blessed with a talent, God-given talent in singing. Though at an early age, at 13 years old when his mother died, he struggled and went thru hardships like living in the streets and taking menial irregular jobs just to survive. He only found a regular job by joining a small-time band at aged 15 which led to other bands until he worked overseas, in HK, but it was a gruelling job contract. It was in his last stint with a band called the Zoo when his friend uploaded his videos playing Journey songs and luckily Journey's founder Neil Schon found him...invited him for audition in the US. After 3 days, he was hired and the rest, as they say, it's history.
If his mom died when he was 15 he went to school from elementery to 3rd yr high school. Philippines curriculums using English languages bec during early 1898 Spanish American war. Philippines is under the American. I remember our song in the school similar to the Ameeicans.
Hindi siya pinapansin ng mga TV network sa Pinas noon kasi di guapo at maliit yon pala hanep sa galing. Mga napapansin lang kasi sa Pinas yong mga me hitsura kahit sa politika kaya naghihirap tayo forever. Di natin kilala yong talent ng tao, kilala lang natin looks kaya doon tayo mali sa politika at talent search.
