Who else has a box of sea shells they're not sure what to do with but they're just SO PRETTY!?
I have loads of them in glass containers and in open bowls throughout my home 🏡 or just sitting on my coffee table looking pretty 🤩
So so beautiful. I love sea themed anything.
Yes me too!
The shells are so beautiful - I love the muted colours. This would make a lovely card. Hope you'll do some more marine and nautical themed tutorials in the future.
Thanks so much!
Perfect way to paint all those little shells I’ve picked up! Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Wow you make it look so easy and relaxed you are talented thanks
Thanks!
Thank you for posting this video! I have lots and lots of shells that I enjoy trying to draw and paint. This video will help me improve my shell painting skills.
Quick cheat tip - if you have your own shells you can trace them which I have done in the past. Of course this only works with flat shells, conches and whelks you have to draw on your own.
Ah that's a handy tip!
Love this. I can't wait to paint my first seashells!
Have fun!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I really love this thankyou so much
Thanks for watching Sharon!
Very pretty
Thanks Linda!

Absolutely beautiful! I collect sea glass and the colors are so pretty, it would be nice to paint sea glass,
Thank you!
Sorry what is sea glass? I have never heard of it
You are so welcome!

Thank you Mrs H. Love the compass trick & of course always the show and tell. Yes we have pebbles and shells. My grand baby find some really cool ones. 💙💜💙

Watching you painting, your voice, your talent, is being curative for my soul. I'm going through a not very happy time in my life and every time that one of your videos come up to my mobile, makes me smile and enjoy. I can be also a good professional and you are an absolute inspiration Harriet.
Thanks for everything. I hope to meet you someday. 🙂🎨🖌🖼
Oh Angela I’m so glad I’m bringing a little bit of relief. Hope you feel better soon
I'm climbing my mountain day by day dear! And feeling better. 🖌🎨🙂
This is so lovely, thank you. I love the fairly limited palette - the colours compliment each other. Shells and pebbles offer great potential don't they? 😃
They really do!
You are too good
Thanks Naheed!
This is so beautiful! I enjoyed painting the pebbles and will be doing this soon! I have baskets and jars and bottles of sand, shells, seaglass, pebbles and stones so have plenty of subject matter!

Thanks Cheryl!
My set of small ProArt brushes from your Etsy store arrived today, just in time for this painting! They are an absolute joy to use, the 4/10 gives me so much control! Love it, thank you so so much Harriet!
Glad you like them!
This is very pretty. Thank you.
Thank you! 😊
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Thoroughly enjoyed it
You are so welcome!
Now that so many of us have your brushes, I wonder if you might consider doing an episode dedicated to them? As in which you use for what, any specific tips and tricks, care of them etc. I have used them a couple times now and am finding their spring and the length of the bristles something to get used to. I do love them!
That’s a fun idea!
Beautiful and informative, as usual! Thank you so much!
Ah thanks Brenda!
Great, really beautiful and I can’t wait to have a go at them. I have quite a collection of shells we have collected over the year’s, so this has really inspired me to get them out and try this. Thank you so much, you definitely read my mind!!

Can’t wait to do this with my new brushes💕
Ah thanks Mary, If you want to leave an Etsy review for the brushes I would be v grateful
Loved loved loved this one! I did the pebbles and had so much fun that I was looking around for something else organic to paint to go along with the theme. I’m wanting to paint 4 different pictures to become a 4 some on the wall framed for my daughters new home. Maybe feathers ??? I am a beginner and these are turning out so good. Thank you!
Wonderful! I have a tutorial on feathers in my illustration playlist
What an inspiring idea! 💗
Thanks!
Lovely card and very unusual!
Thanks so much!
"And welcome along" I miss that phrase
Ah, did I not say it this time?
I love this tutorial. Can you do a quick run down on the colors in your pallette?I am starting a new one because my bad kitty 😺 knocked my porcelain palette off the table on to the floor where it broke into a million pieces. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Christine, Harriet did a video on setting up her pallet and what colours she uses. Its out there somewhere 😉
"How to prep a watercolour pallet" Hope you find it.
Yes and I also list the colours I use in each tutorial in the episode notes
So pretty and such fun! I like your palette boxes. What brand are they, please?
I use a loxley folding palette. This is it split in two
I adore your work, but the music makes me crazy. I just had to say it. Thanks.
No worries Deborah, it's not to everyone's taste
